Old Orchard Beach vacation rentals

The Range was a beautiful escape! It was close enough to the OOB Pier that we could take a 20 minute walk for dinner, shopping, entertainment, and everything in between. It was also far enough away from the train crossings that we weren't disturbed by the train whistles, which for me was worth every extra step, especially when the kids were younger and light sleepers. The cottage is newly renovated with all the comforts of home - even items we never thought we'd miss. A storage bin with beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys was easily accessible so saved some room in our car for traveling. Everything inside was clearly labeled, including light switches, so the guesswork when staying somewhere new was basically non-existent. While there were many stairs within the cottage, the sleeping space was separated from the living space so early risers wouldn't disturb the night owls, or vice versa. The living space was gorgeous! Very open concept that the whole family could be together with plenty of room for everyone. The stairs to the private (quiet) rooftop deck were well worth the climb, since the view from the deck truly made our vacation! We could enjoy the sunrise, sunset, and ocean view without needing to leave the house. However, the beach was a 2-minute walk from the back door, so we could come & go as we wished. While the lighting in the living space was a bit dim for reading or detail work (I'm a huge jigsaw puzzle fan), we were able to enjoy our hobbies with little extra effort. While we've been going to OOB for 16 years and this is the 7th place we stayed, it is truly our family favorite! We are all hoping to keep our vacation tradition alive for many years to come at the Range! Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Anchors Away Cottage! This charming 3-bedroom retreat was perfect for my stay The location couldn't be better - just a 7minute walk to downtown Old Orchard Beach and conveniently close to downtown shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed. The sleeping arrangements were flexible and comfortable, accommodating. The enclosed porch was a great spot. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as the Egyptian cotton towels. The ability to work from home was a bonus, so that I could come a day earlier with the dedicated workspace and reliable internet.The cottage was very clean and well taken care of with lots of extras. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Nice & clean #modern property. I felt safe with the 4 kids and we enjoyed a movie night on the comfy couch all toghether . The washing/dryer machine were a big plus for the beach towels & bathing suits. We had everything we needed to enjoy our family time in USA . Friendly town ! Friendly owners!

We had a great stay at Rachael's place! The location was great -- not a super short walk to the pier (we definitely got our steps walking back and forth), but still accessible, and very walkable to the beach. The patio was a highlight, as was the beach access. Some minor issues while we were there that I hope the owner fixes: 1) there was only a very sheer curtain on the front door. Because of the size of the room, this gave us very little privacy, so even for changing you had to kinda've hide in the bathroom. This was not great, especially since we were right by the stairs so there was a fair amount of traffic. 2) None of the other lights (tree, flamingo neon sign) worked -- this wasn't a huge deal, but left just the overhead light and at night it would have been nice to have some ambiance/lower light for reading, etc. Overall, again, the location and clean, beautiful room were exactly what we wanted and we'd definitely stay there again!

Property was perfect size for us to stay with our dog and baby. The place is brightly painted and fun, conveniently located near the beach and pier, and it was very clean

We loved our stay in Old Orchard Beach. The condo was a short 7-8 min walk from the public beach and Palace Playland. There were several restaurants and stores nearby and everything we needed was in reach. We traveled with our 12 year old twin daughters and it was nice to have a park and playground nearby. Old Orchard Beach is centrally located, enabling quick day trips to Portland when it rained as well as to Funtown/Splashtown in Saco, The Maine Wildlife Refuge in Gray, Sebago Lake, Freeport and Kennebunkport. The condo itself was better than described in the photos. Comfortable beds, clean, well stocked kitchen and linens provided. As a plant lover I especially appreciated the flower pots! Denise was very responsive to questions and was a great host. We highly recommend this condo and will be back soon!

Jeanne is a great host! She was very proactive and informative. Jeanne's place was as described and pristinely clean. Beds extremely comfortable and rooms were nice size and bright. Jeanne's place is just minutes from many of Maine's local attractions. There is also a Dunkin Donuts on the corner which was so convenient, every morning we our grabbed our coffee and snack to start our day. Don't be intimidated by the long line it moves very quickly. Jeanne's place also has two private parking spots which is very nice. I would highly recommend this Air BNB and will certainly stay here again when I return to Maine.

We had a wonderful stay at Achor's Away cottage. The place looked better than the pictures and we really loved the nautical theme. The unit was well equipped and had everything we could want. There was also a very nice welcome guestbook from the host with some local recommendations and interesting information. Great location, walking distance to Old Orchard Beach and about a 20-30 min drive to downtown Portland. Check in/Check out was very easy with excellent communication from the host.
