The Original Shrimp Dock Bar and Grill is a casual dining choice on San Carlos Island of Fort Myers Beach. We decided to head over on 1/2-price pizza Tuesday. We got a great table on the deck with a wonderful view of Matanzas Pass and the sunset.
Getting to the Original Shrimp Dock Bar and Grill
We drove over from our Beach Delight vacation rental located on the Gulf on Estero Island of Fort Myers Beach. It's a 2-mile drive and the restaurant does offer parking. But if you're visiting Fort Myers Beach during the busier late winter months, you may want to get there by bike instead. It's only a 10 minute ride.
Half-Price Pizza on Tuesday
As you might expect, a waterfront restaurant with shrimping boats moored nearby and having "Shrimp" in their name may not make the best pizza. However, it's worthy of half-price. And the Sanibel Summer Salad overcompensates for any deficiency in the pizza!
Fun Events at the Original Shrimp Dock
The restaurant also hosts events like State Days where they serve food and drink especially known in other US States. They also host car shows!
We can't wait to head over to the Original Shrimp Dock Bar and Grill again!
