The best bet for eating in, or at least the most popular with the kids, is pizza.  But there isn't a lot of choice unless you want to leave the beach.  Your best bet for the best pizza on the beach, in Papa's Pizza.  Papa's will satisfy even the biggest pizza snob.  But it isn't a quickie pizza place.  The restaurant is so popular, does a ton of business, and doesn't deliver.  So be ready to wait a bit.  But it is worth the wait!

There aren't a lot of chain restaurants or burger places on the beach.  And no one worries about "fast food" when living on Island Time.  But there is a Subway and a few sandwich shops on the beach.  Just do a map search to find them.

Make sure you give yourself enough time and expect to wait during high season at peak times.  Or be flexible and go early to miss the crowds.  You can often arrange take out at most restaurants if you call ahead.  If you are willing to head over the bridge, you will find a ton of fast food places to choose from.  Consider Publix Deli for great subs, or Wal-Mart Market for deli prepared meals.  And of course, there is Chik-fil-a and Panera.  They all allow order ahead  and group platters and large orders.

Tiki House is more than a vacation rental. It is our vacation home!  We purchased the home in 2015 because it is located in a quiet residential area right on the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. This beautiful area is full of beautiful homes, quiet beaches with the Emerald Coast's signature white sand. It is still close enough to walk, ride a bike on the trails, or take the free trolley during the summer to restaurants, bars, and shops. Or you could head east to the visit some of the most beautiful and preserved beaches that are part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. But we chose Tiki House specifically for its charm, character and amenities.  It has the largest private pool on the beach (according to our pool pro) and the perfect views from its many decks.  We want to make a stay at Tiki House as wonderful and memorable an experience for you as it is for us. Dedicated to making Tiki House THE vacation home of your dreams.
