The traffic on check-in and check-out days can be an issue if you have a deadline. With a little prior planning, you can avoid getting stuck on the bridge, at the toll booth, or on a jam on the Interstate.

Many guests text or call a few hours after arriving at Tiki House with the same comment or complaint. "The refrigerator isn't working!" In all the years we have rented, this has always been a false alarm! We have 2 refrigerators for guest to use, which is really great, but this means we sometimes get the complaint that BOTH fridges are not working!

May to October is the time for nesting and hatching. If you are lucky, you may witness one of these amazing events. Because of the current beach ordinances and recent conservation efforts, the turtle population is rising, and the chance of witnessing the laying or hatching of turtles has increased too.

The toll to get onto Pensacola Beach is hardly an issue at only $1. But the wait can be annoying during high traffic periods, check-in on Saturday or holidays when locals are heading to the beach too. Below are some helpful hints to make getting on the island easier and quicker.
