Snooze or activate a listing on Houfy

To snooze a listing, go to Listings and click Snooze in the listing block. Snooze sits alongside Remove and Hide under the completion badge, with Edit, Calendar, Pricing and Preview on the row below and a green Live badge on the right.

Houfy asks how long you want to snooze for. Pick a length from the dropdown - 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months or 1 year. It defaults to 1 month. You have to choose a length; there is no open-ended snooze.

What snoozing does

• Your listing no longer appears in Houfy search results, so new guests cannot find it.

• Nobody can select dates on your listing, and your calendar is hidden from the listing page.

• Reservations you already have are not affected.

The snooze ends by itself. Once the end date you chose has passed, Houfy activates the listing again - you do not have to do anything.

Activate a snoozed listing early

If you want it back before the snooze ends, click Activate in the listing block. While a listing is snoozed its block reads Snoozed until, followed by the end date; the Snooze button is replaced by Activate, Hide stays where it is, and the green Live badge turns yellow and reads Snoozed.
