How do I create a monthly discount?

1. Open Menu > Manage Listings, pick the listing and click Edit.

2. In the left menu click Pricing, then Discounts. The direct link is houfy.com/edit-listing/<LISTING_ID>/pricing/discounts.

3. Click the Length of Stay Discounts header to open that section - all four sections on this page start closed.

4. Click Add length of stay discount.

5. In the Select nights... dropdown choose 4 weeks (28 nights) - that is the monthly tier - type the percentage, and click Save.

Do not use the Continue button at the bottom of the page to save this. It takes you on to the Contact Person page and your discount is not saved.

There is no field called monthly discount. The monthly tier is 4 weeks (28 nights), and Houfy works a monthly rate out over 28 nights elsewhere too, not 30. If you want the discount to start at a longer stay you can instead choose 5 weeks (35), 6 weeks (42), 8 weeks (56), 10 weeks (70) or 12 weeks (84 nights), and you can set several lengths at once.

The percentage comes off the nightly rate for the whole stay, and the maximum is 99%.
