Understanding the Houfy Connect Charge
When booking a property with Houfy Connect, you might notice an additional charge labeled API Connection Fee in your total booking cost. The charge is 5 percent of the booking subtotal before taxes. It applies only to properties connected through one of our software partners, and it is shown as its own line in the price breakdown before you pay. Here's why:
Essential Integration Costs: To offer these professionally managed properties, Houfy is contractually obligated to provide our software partners with an agreed percentage of the booking value. This charge covers that requirement and other costs associated with our API connections.
