Lake Lure vacation rentals

This home was as described. Sleeps 10 in real beds, not by using cots or pullout sofas. Beautifully decorated with attention to detail and the decorations enhanced the authentic feel of being in the mountains. The house is very clean! The house has everything you need - linens, towels, stocked bathrooms with toilet paper, Qtips, shampoo, conditione, body wash, full kitchen with special touches like coffee for the coffee maker, salt and pepper, spices, etc. The hosts thought of everything- there are even extra toothbrushes should you forget yours! The most amazing part of the home is the back porch. Comfortable porch chairs and gliders, a table for 6 to eat outside and a full size grill. The views of the mountain are spectacular. We spent many hours looking at the rock face and discussing the images being formed by the rock dimensions. It was also very cool to see the rain come down through the valley each day. You are very close to nature and see many wildlife. There is a bottom floor that has a game room with a pool table And a big TV. Wonderful for families with kids. We hiked at Chimney Rock, walked the flowering bridge, visited the town of Chimney Rock and rented a pontoon boat from Lake Lure Adventures and went horseback riding at Cedar Creek Stables. I highly recommend all of them! Our host Melissa was gracious, easy to work with and communicate with. She was responsive and checked into occasionally to make sure all was well. Very easy process.

My siblings and parents try to do a large, all-family trip every four years and as our family grows, it becomes more challenging finding a house to accommodate 12 of us. Five kids and seven adults. This house was perfect and gave us all space to spread out when we needed to but also gather together. I have stayed at my fair share of vacation rentals and I have to say, hands down, this was the best-equipped house. Any kitchen utensil you could need, they had. Plenty of extra blankets and linens, board games for entertainment, scavenger hunts for the kids, a visitors guide which outlined everything perfectly was on hand. The house was perfectly labeled so you knew what light switch controlled each room and light fixture, instructions on how to use certain appliances, and even steps were labeled if it was slightly taller than the other steps on the deck. The owner was so incredibly responsive and helpful and was available if we needed anything throughout our stay. This was our first time staying this part of North Carolina and having access to Rumbling Bald Resort was a priority for us. The staff at the resort were welcoming and helpful. Lastly, the pictures don’t do the view justice. It was simply beautiful and I kept saying how incredibly it would be to visit in the fall and I would love to do a girls trip in the future! We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this beautiful home. It had beautiful views and the resort has many things to do. The club house has a restaurant with good food and service , it had pool tables and a nice bar. The pools and hot tubs are nice, there is a beautiful golf coarse, and beach, there is security at the front gate and everyone was very friendly. We can’t wait to return in the summer!! Irma went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her communication was very quick and she sent many recommendations which came in handy. The house was very clean, check in was very easy, and she had all the extras in the home in case we had forgotten anything! It was most def and much needed relaxing getaway. And when u have a super host like Irma it makes it even better! If u visit u must eat at the victory kitchen, there will be a wait but it’s soo worth it. And the town of chimney rock is so cute and the views are breathtaking!! I would most definitely recommend staying here you won’t regret it.

The house is remote enough that you have privacy, but are within 10 minutes of Lake Lure and a grocery store. The fire pit was a hit with the family every evening and the front porch was great for coffee in the mornings. The basement has a great game room for all ages. The downstairs bedroom has air conditioning but the rest of the basement could get a little warm. A couple of fans could help with this or a window ac unit. The main floor was great. Kitchen was well stocked and even had Keurig for coffee. The grill on the back porch was in great condition and we used it for most of our meals. The beds were comfortable. Would suggest upgrading to smart TVs so guest could stream Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. The washer and dryer functioned well and we’re big enough for extra large loads! There is plenty of parking, even towards the bottom of the driveway if your vehicle can’t get up the gravel driveway. Very clean! An awesome time!

The property is all you hope for a family vacation. It is open format, extremely clean, & perfectly located in Lake Lure. The host was so kind and willing to help. I needed help with Netflix and they came right away and installed a new Roku. They had all you could possibly need and think of. The kids loved the loft upstairs has so many games and movies to choose from. Outdoors was a lovely spot for roasting marshmallows, minutes away from many restaurants, supermarket, and starbucks for coffee lovers like me. Close to nice hiking trails and chimney rock state park. They also recommended Boon Life Adventures where we had a lovely experience with atv riding highly recommend. Cant wait to come back and rent again. It was a blessing to come across this host, property, and recommendations.

This home is absolutely fantastic! The house is very well appointed—from the tasteful decor to the fabulous master bath showers, this house has it all! The lower level offers a great area for recreation with the game room, outdoor swing, and firepit area, as well as spacious laundry, and bedroom with bathroom facilities. The upper level is gorgeous with the tongue and groove vaulted ceilings, stacked-stone fireplace and gas logs w/timer. Each of the two master bedrooms has its own private deck, bathroom and closet that are wonderfully large! The kitchen—oh, the kitchen, is magnificent! Huge island, well appointed, with high-end cabinetry. Lovely deck just off the kitchen with gas grill and seating for relaxing. Third level is a great, relaxing retreat with reclining leather sectional and large tv. Steps away is yet another private balcony, perfect for star-gazing! Loved everything about this home—we will be back! Oh yes, did I forget to mention, it was clean and neat as a pin! Thank you to whomever the housekeeper is! Great job!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin near Lake Lure! The location is ideal...close to everything but still peaceful and tucked away enough to feel like a true getaway. The space worked perfectly for our multi-family vacation. With three levels, everyone had plenty of room to spread out while still having great common areas to gather. It never felt crowded, which can be hard to find with larger groups. We especially appreciated all of the thoughtful amenities and little touches that made the stay feel extra special. The coffee bar was a highlight, with a Nespresso machine (original capsules) plus additional coffee makers to suit everyone’s preferences. The Clinique makeup remover balm in the bathrooms was such a nice, unexpected touch. We also loved the bottle of wine from Parker Binns Winery...it inspired us to visit the winery for a tasting, which ended up being a highlight of our trip! The cabin was also stocked with games, puzzles, and books, which kept everyone entertained. The USB chargers on all the nightstands were convenient. And we were happy to find beach towels for the hot tub as well. One thing to be aware of: there are rodent deterrent devices placed around the yard that emit light, intermittent buzzing, beeping, and humming sounds. While we understand their purpose, the noise did take away a bit from the otherwise peaceful outdoor setting. Overall, this is a fantastic property for families or groups looking for a comfortable, well-equipped place near Lake Lure. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it!

This was my fourth stay at Juve! ... and it won't be my last! I hesitate to say so many good things because I don't want the "secret to get out," but this place is incredible. Perfect in every way. I like to cook so the Juve kitchen is absolutely perfect. We roasted a beautiful turkey breast in the oven (accurate temperature!) and the spacious countertop gave plenty of space to cook and prepare food. We are seasoned travelers so we bring everything we need (plenty of space to store things!) - including wines and food. Juve is well-stocked but it's always a good idea to bring what you need (it's a cabin in the woods, after all!). We never left the cabin for three and half days! We even brought wood for the big fireplace and boy did we use it! Open the door and you can smell the relaxing scent of wood. Can't wait to return!!! Future guests: we left the fireplace immaculately clean - please do the same (it's just not that hard!). WE LOVE JUVE and can't wait to return (shhh! let's keep this one a secret!!!)
