Copy rental agreement from one listing to another

Copying a rental agreement from one listing to another is not available at the moment - there is no Copy rental agreement button on the Rental agreement page.

To give a second listing the same agreement, build it there directly:

1. Click the plus button in the top bar and choose Rental agreement. Direct link: houfy.com/new/agreement.

2. Under Create New Rental Agreement, choose the listing you want the agreement for and click Create a rental agreement.

3. Open the new agreement from My rental agreements and add the sections you want, keeping your first listing’s agreement open in another tab as a reference. Text sections can be copied and pasted between the two.

One warning before you use step 2: if the listing you pick already has a rental agreement, creating a new one does not make a second agreement - it wipes every section from the existing one and rebuilds it from the Houfy default, and you are not asked to confirm. Only run it on a listing that has no agreement yet, or on one whose current agreement you are willing to lose.
