Saint George Island vacation rentals

We stayed at the Salty Mermaid from 8/1-8/8/2021. This was our first time to go to St George Island and our first family vacation in over 3 years. It didn’t disappoint! In fact, this place exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend! We are a family of my husband and I and our 3 kids. They are ages 19,18, and 15. But I also think it’s great for a family with younger kids! We also brought our 2 dogs, a 10 lb maltiyorkiepoo and our 2 yr old border collie. The best thing was that everyone had space!! Sadly, it poured rain for 3 straight days, but since we were staying at this house, no one got on each other’s nerves! No fighting etc! That is the best thing ever for a mom on vacation!!! And the internet service was great for all 5 of us to stream shows, play games and work! This place also provided SO many things!! We could have left all our beach gear! They had plenty of chairs, sand toys, etc. we did rent a tent for the week, but they had an umbrella. We also enjoyed the golf cart. Made getting to the beach and back super easy and going to the store or wherever. We are beach people so we never used the pool, but it was nice and the hot tub was enjoyed on rainy days. St George Island was perfect! It’s so hard to find a beach vacation where the beaches aren’t PACKED! Not an issue on SGI. I can’t write every little thing we loved about this place! My only recommendation is it would be super nice if the back screened in porch had a ceiling fan and/or electrical outlets for a box fan. I loved laying in the hammock back there. I wish there was a way for people interested to ask me questions about this rental! Part of me wants to keep it the hidden jewel that it is and part of me wants to tell everyone about it! It was a much needed break for our family at a very reasonable price! 100 stars!!!

Wowza! If you are looking for an incredibly relaxing beach vacation in a beautiful home that offers it all, look no further! The photos don’t do this beautiful home justice. It’s even better in person! It was a perfect set up for 2 families to spend spring break together and the hosts thought of it all as far as amenities provided. Laura was fantastic to communicate with. We are so sad that our week flew by in SGI but are so grateful that we chose to spend our time Recharging by the Sea at this home! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Our family with two children and a fur baby spent January at Island Bliss, and it was…well, blissful! The home is nicely decorated and well-equipped. Our favorite parts were the upstairs screened porch and the living room, both of which fit the five of us perfectly. Both porches have a gulf view, and the public boardwalk to the beach is just across the street. The lighthouse and new playground are also within walking distance, as is Weber’s Little Donut shop and the Blue Parrot. The location is great if you like being able to park the car and walk or bike to just about everything, in fact. Our girls and dog enjoyed the backyard, and it was nice to have a place to keep their bikes when we weren’t using them. The backyard is well-furnished as well, with a hot tub, firepit, comfy furniture, a hammock and grill. This is a lovely, little home-away-from-home at our favorite vacation spot, St. George Island!

High Breeze NEVER disappoints... whether a long-planned escape from the real world or a quick getaway opportunity. The same can most certainly be said for GOSGI Vacation Properties. I had some friends that were going to be in St. Joe (just up the road) and I inquired about open property possibilities on St. George Island (SGI). Lynn responded quickly, as she always does, and put me in touch with Roxanne at GO SGI to finalize the details. I made these quick plans within a week of my departure from Atlanta to SGI. I love that I can be so flexible now and generally one of Lynn and David's properties are available most anytime I want to scoot away. My favorite times at SGI are usually spring and/or fall to early winter... heck pretty much anytime except those extremely HOT summer months with are PEAK season. When I arrived at High Breeze, the view from the oceanside porch once again took my breath away!! I love that VIEW!! Everything was very clean, as always, and the stage was set for a week to decompress and relax from my normally very hectic world. The weather was perfect for a late March stay aside from a couple of days that were sunny, but the winds were gusting. It reminded me of the saying... "any day at the beach is better than a day at home/work!" What a true statement!! This trip to SGI I was able to check off a bucket list item... riding horses on the beach. That was awesome and the weather was perfect for this too. I got a week's worth of fresh seafood and hitting some of my favorite spots between SGI, Apalachicola, and St. Joe Beach. My week away went by way too quickly!! If time could just stand still when I make it down to SGI. Thank you so much Lynn and Roxanne for another GREAT stay/week at SGI that left a smile in my heart and an even bigger one on my face. We will be back again soon!!

What a lucky find! We arrived to SGI late afternoon and I called Roxanne's sign in front of another property. That was already rented but she told me about 2 Seashells and we booked it. I was a bit nervous paying almost $1000 for 2 nights without seeing any photos of the inside,but when we entered, we were absolutely awe struck by the beautiful property! Loved the high ceilings and extremely comfortable furniture and beds. Very well equipped for fun on the beach across the street. And it was the cleanest home rental we have ever visited! Impeccable! We will definitely tell our friends and family about 2 Seashells and keep Roxanne's number saved in our phones because she was great!! We can't wait to visit again!

We love St. George Island for the quiet and relaxed tone of the island. We hope it can remain that way in the future. Between the Dunes is a fabulous place to stay . It was clean ,the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of bath and beach towels. We had several family members come and stay with us at different times while we were there and they all commented on how nice this place was and had plenty of beds for our needs. The location was centrally located and was really private on one side of the property next to the pool which was nice. We also would highly recommend GoSgi vacation rentals,. Roxanne was wonderful to work with and very responsive to any questions we had . We would definitely stay here again ( and so would our guests ) either with or without us!

Typically, we rent beachfront or beachside, however due to low availability, we rented Happy Bayz for Memorial Day weekend. I can't express how pleasantly surprised I was. The house is only 1500 ft. to the beach (and straight shot). We did rent a golf cart to haul our gear in the mornings and evenings, but the group (kids and adults) had no problem walking back and forth from beach to house. We weren't expecting to utilize the dock since we didn't have a boat, but it turned out to be our favorite place to watch the sunset (there are trees obscuring the sunset on the horizon, but still very beautiful). Our old dog loved watching the mullet jump and the bird life from the dock. The house was immaculate, organized, and one of the best stocked rentals I've ever stayed in. The kitchenette with large fridge on the lower level was perfect for the teenagers. We loved the brand new beach chairs and plan to buy some similar since they were so comfortable. The house is at the end of the road and is very private. There were four adults and five kids in our group (ages 14-17) and everyone gave the house two thumbs up. Go SGI Vacation Properties was easy to do business with and Roxanne was very attentive to our questions. We will definitely use them for our next vacation at SGI.

My family and I have spent the last 15 years celebrating Thanksgiving on St George Island in the Plantation. This year we selected a perfect property. Seaclusion was just the right size for our growing family and in a perfect spot on the island. The large dining table was perfect for my 3 granddaughters to enjoy crafts and dining with our favorite fur baby hanging out under their feet waiting for anything they might drop. I would highly recommend this property, the size is great the location is wonderful the home is clean and tidy and offers all the kitchen necessities I needed to create an amazing Thanksgiving dinner. The only con to the property was the internet connection, we had constant issues with our phones and trying to connect to stream TV has well as work if we needed to.
