Narragansett vacation rentals

I would like to thank Suzanne for providing us such a wonderful home in a great location for our family vacation this past July (2012). The house was very clean, well taken care of, and was furnished with everything you would have in your home (if not more). The house had plenty of space for 8 adults, 3 children who were there full-time and some additional overnight guest part-time to stay comfortably. The yard is very large and fenced in so the kids had plenty of room to run around and play safely. The beach is walking distance, we had young kids so we did drive them down with our beach gear and everyone chipped in for a parking pass (we used my dad to get the senior rate). Location is also close to shopping and attractions (go to Crazy Burger!!), we had a wedding in Newport which took about 40 min to get to with traffic. Lastly we took walks around the neighborhood at night and checked out the other rentals to compare and everyone agreed we this was the best house in the neighborhood. Thanks again Suzanne, it can be very unsettling renting a home in RI when you live in CA, but you were excellent to work with and we hope we are able to come back in the near future!!

Megan's cottage was perfect for our very first trip to Narragansett! Not only was it sparkling clean but wonderfully decorated! The beach theme was tasetfully carried throughout the house. I loved the hardware on the bathroom cabinetry with seashells and seahorses! Very creative! For a smaller sized cottage the open concept really gave you a good sense of space. Because of diet restrictions I needed to take full advantage of the kitchen! I completely appreciated that the kitchen was so well equipped. A huge bonus for my husband and I was the comfort of the beds! Since we are seniors we can really use a good bed when away from our own!! The nearby Sunset Farm was my go to for seasonal produce and a quick trip down the road to the Wharf Ferry Fish Market provided mouth watering fresh off the boat fish each night! That was a dream come true! The kayaking was fun and the beach was great. However, one of the best parts of the day was my morning walk around a charming and funky beach neighborhood . I met several of the neighbors and learned about the area and some history. Everyone was very friendly and I saw one garden, one interesting deck, one architectural feature after another that added to the beauty and uniqueness of the neighborhood. I would highly recommend Megan's home to anyone looking for an authentic beach vacation!

Great location in Narragansett Pier. 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Minutes from multiple restaurants. Ample parking in back. Apartment is clean, bright and spacious in a nice neighborhood. AC works great. Kitchen has most of the amenities you need. It is on the 3rd floor with some very steep staircases so maybe not the best place for guests with difficulty walking but we looked at it as a nice mini workout.

This is a comfortable, clean unit, with plenty of elbow room for two. All listed amenities were available. Convenient check-in. Lots of storage for clothing and other belongings. The location is great for beach-goers and diners-out. The building is nicely shaded by very large trees, so the temperature inside the unit was comfortable, even without AC. Nice breeze coming in the windows. The beach passes were a wonderful plus (saved us $24 per beach visit). Lisa, the property management representative, responded immediately by text to inquiries and was very friendly and accommodating.
