Barnstable vacation rentals

My family and two others just finished a 3-night stay at Sean’s place in Barnstable. The weekend was much hotter than expected, and Sean thoughtfully turn on the central a/c for our arrival, which was much appreciated. Checking in using the keyless entry was hassle-free. As others have mentioned, it is a bit off the beaten path, but very cozy and quiet. The house itself was very clean, kitchen was well stocked with the essentials (plates, pots/pans, utensils) and all rooms were neat and presentable. The two rooms upstairs were very spacious. We were easily able to fit our two pack n plays and ourselves comfortably. We enjoyed the outdoor space and the opportunity to BBQ in the backyard. While the mosquitoes came out in the evening, we bought a citronella candle the second night and that was a big help. Sean was very accessible the entire stay. He brought us a grill brush when we couldn’t find one around the house, and he answered any questions we had during our stay as well as giving us some recommendations on what to do. The finished basement was a nice area for our kids to play (or watch Dora) in the a/c when the heat was too oppressive outside. We found some nice parks, restaurants and beaches within 20-30 minute drive. (A parking pass for local beaches was included saving us $20 a day!). A spigot outside of the house would have been helpful for spraying sand off feet and toys, but otherwise the house was a great space for families.

Adorable cozy cottage on the Cape. Beautifully decorated. Lots of beachy decor so probably not best for small children. Gorgeous backyard. Spent most of our time outside when we were home. Denise was very responsive and the house was incredibly well-appointed. Nice to not need linens!! Walk to a very small beach.
