Kailua-Kona vacation rentals

We live on the other side of Hawaii Island (Hilo side) and decided to take a staycation in Kona. We found the "Aloha Lani" condo and stayed for three days lovely days. We had all of our needs met and more! The bed was very super comfy and the little touches such as toothbrushes and toothpaste as well as blow driers, hand mirrors, and an assortment of soaps and lotions was very thoughtful. The hallway closet has a nice array of beach amenities. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook a nice meal in from breakfast to dinner, all the dishes and cook ware provided along with a full size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot and more. The lanai was lovely to take meals on with the birds singing and the sound of the nearby surf. We were pleasantly surprised to find there is a washer and dryer in the unit! Its great for longer stays! It is rather warm in Kona but the ice cold A/C, included in your rental fee was wonderful! Other resorts we have stayed at before charged an additional fee. We particularly enjoyed the ocean fed pool surrounded by a private beach. In the evening folks gather in the common area for Happy Hour and to "talk story". So many folks who live there full time made us feel quite at home. Being local we were very appreciative for Kama'aina discount that was offered. We highly recommend staying at this condo and are looking forward to spending my birthday there in September.

Jess and Chris were very easy to communicate with. Their condo was very clean and easy to access. When we arrived we noticed the suit case holders to put our suite cases on. That was very nice to have. We used them the entire time to keep our cloths organized. They also had a large closet and provided cloths hangers. another great plus. The kitchen was nice. They have a Keurig, which we did not know till after we had arrived so we brought coffee, but don't worry, they have a coffee machine also. All the pots and pad are in great shape and well organized. Walking to Kona was super easy walk, which we did every day. They provided beach chairs and umbrella which we also took advantage of as well as a cooler to bring food and beverages to the beach with us. Also they had a drying rack for our suits to dry on when we got back. Don't forget the parking spot was in a great spot. We are looking forward to our next trip... we will definitely have their condo on the top of the list. Thank You!!!

This was the perfect place to stay for 5 couples. We had the most amazing time at Breezy Pool Oasis. The pool, hot tub, and the lanai that had doors opening right to the kitchen were highlights! We ate very meal on the lanai while watching the most gorgeous sunsets over the ocean. The views were spectacular. We loved the house so much, it made it hard to leave! The pool and hot tub were very clean and were serviced while we were there. The landscaping was immaculate. The washer and dryer worked great, the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cooking appliances, soap, trash bags, everything. There were plenty of pool toys and items to use for the beach. Enough towels to go around for showers and the pool/beach. The location was close to shops, restaurants, and sights in Kailua-Kona without feeling like we were right in the middle of it. We took long walks to get coffee at Berry Bird and the farmers market in the morning. It was in a quiet and nice neighborhood and a great home base to come back to after exploring. This was hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST property we’ve ever stayed at! Everything about this unit is first rate. Modern, beautifully decorated, top of the line appliances, a spectacular lanai view, central a/c that works great, the beautiful lanai with wine cooler and ceiling fans, even a covered parking spot for your vehicle. And did I mention the incredible lanai!!! (I think you get the idea) Your host, Brittany, is super to deal with and has thought of everything to make your visit pleasant, from a tray of island goodies to the emergency flashlights in every side table! We loved our visit and HIGHLY recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great Big Island visit.

Kenya was a super host and thoughtfully had filled ice trays, cold filtered water and cooked aloe vera in the fridge/freezer. Complimentary tea and coffee in the well-appointed kitchen. Coffee maker, microwave and l and full stove with oven. We didn't cook anything but could have easily because everything was provided to include pots and pans, bowls, all utensils down to measuring cups and spoons. No need to bring a cooler, beach towels, chairs, or umbrella because it's provided. She even had bug spray (didn't need it) and mineral based sunscreen available. Comfortable bed and very fluffy towels. AC was much appreciated, too. Having the washer/dryer was a bonus to rinse out our wet beachwear. The living space was comfortable for two adults and was exactly as described. It's right on Ali'i Drive so it's a good idea to back into the parking space for easy exiting. There was a bit of road noise but it didn't bother us with white noise to help sleep. Kenya was very responsive and helpful.

Tin and Jesse’s place is awesome! From the home to the furniture…it was all thought out! The pool and the backyard feel like a resort. It had the biggest pool I have seen in a home. The location is 15 min from the airport and only 5-10 min from town and all the great restaurants and stores. I loved that Costco is only 10 min away. Check-in process was great. It’s all digital and Tin and Jesse were happy to help with any questions we had. The beautiful single level home has a great layout and has been recently updated with modern touches. The view and sunset are just unreal and feels like you're in a postcard. Pictures don’t do it justice. We will be coming back for sure. Worth every penny. The backyard alone is worth the trip! We didn’t see many reviews for this property so we had some concerns, but as it turns out, it was just new to the rental market and I’m glad we took the chance and found this place. My kids and family had a blast and we made some great memories! This place is A++

Kenya's place is truly spotless with upscale, lovely linens and towels. Everything was well laid out and easy to understand. I am a Superhost, so I know what it takes to service travelers and I see the extra work that Kenya went to help make our stay delightful. Kenya's place is located within 3km of the main part of Alii Drive as well as a 5 minute walk across the street to a public beach access point (which are located all along Alii Drive) which leads to a secluded, beautiful quintessential Big Island beach. Hawaii is SO expensive for accommodation - most of it not great. Hosts like Kenya act like an Ambassador of how things should be in welcoming guests with a lovely, clean, cute, and well appointed home away from home. 5 STARS I highly recommend. Best Airbnb in Kona for sure. Thank you

This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Everything about it was perfect. All of the communication and instructions in advance were clear and when we got there, it was the best Hawaiian oasis for my family. Kenya thought of every little detail so we felt right at home. The house was spotless and had beautiful decor. We loved waking up to the peaceful yard and ocean view. Visits from the pups was also a massive bonus! Loved getting some doggy snuggles while in Hawaii and we were so sad to leave them! The location is easy to find and super close to so much. Our first day we drove to the Kona coffee farms which were about 10-20 minutes away. The next day we drove to Volcanoes National Park. We wish we had more time to spend relaxing at Kenya’s home but we only had 2 nights and tried to see as much of the big island as we could since it was our first time visiting. The only negative thing I can say is that we had to leave!!! I’d love to come back and would absolutely stay again.
