Sandra was a great - super responsive and helpful host, even coming to pick us up from the train station, which was so welcome in this heat! We were also able to leave the luggage post-check-out, which was really helpful! Other than that the place is comfortable (I slept like a baby in the big bed!) and easy to cool down (and keep cool even at night), a couple minutes’ walk from the walls and has a nice bar nearby! Also furnished with a lot of taste and with little extra touches that will just make your stay all the more comfortable!

Casa Ettore was a perfect respite- nice and roomy and a great central location. Loved all the extras- books, games, spices, etc.! Jen was a great host- very responsive & easy to communicate with. Definitely a winner!! Lucca is so charming & relaxing. Loved the bikes & rented 2 more for our teens from the ”Ride the Walls” bike shop around the corner. A great shady bike path along the walls & playgrounds along the trail too! Yes get a reservation at Osteria da Pasquale. The food was simply amazing and the service so lovely. It was easily our favorite restaurant in Italy (and we went to many!) Other tips - pizza slices from Dante and Gentucca 2 blocks away were SO good -we went back twice! We used the appTaxi app to get a cab pickup at our door to Pisa airport. couldn’t reserve in advance but only took about 10 minutes for the cab to get there late morning. 4 passengers, nice air conditioned van was €110. Looking forward to going back one day - highly recommend Casa Ettore!

The apartment looked exactly like the pictures and was extremely clean. We were met at check-in which was nice and Sandra explained everything about the apartment. She was helpful in recommending places to see and eat and they were fantastic. She responded promptly about heat in the apartment as it was a little cold when we were there. I cannot say enough about how clean the apartment was and the little nice extras that Sandra supplied. If you are looking for a place to stay in Lucca close to the wall and various sites and cities this is the place to stay and you won’t be disappointed.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Erinda&Paolo! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber hatten sogar eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit für uns vorbereitet: eine Flasche Wein, Pasta und Soße – eine sehr liebe Geste. Das Haus ist wunderschön, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und war bei unserer Ankunft makellos sauber. Besonders genossen haben wir den schönen Pool – ideal zum Entspannen. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig und sehr angenehm. In der Nähe befinden sich ein Einkaufszentrum und ein Restaurant, allerdings ist ein Auto empfehlenswert, um mobil zu sein. Lucca ist nur etwa zehn Minuten entfernt, das Meer erreicht man in circa einer halben Stunde. Die Region bietet viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und Aktivitäten. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst herzlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Klare Empfehlung – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Vielen Dank Erinda &Paolo🙏🏽
