This little cozy Italian restaurant in Madragoa it is a real gem! The food is superb, the setting is just what you expect from a typical Italian Ostaria, homey and informal. We really enjoy the formula where the plates are big enough to share and come out of the kitchen in no particular order, you simply share whatever plate comes first…It is a small space so make sure to reserve beforehand so you avoid waiting outside.

4. Fauna & Flora

Rua da Esperança 33,  Lisboa – Tel +351 961 645 040 | Google maps

One of my absolute favorites for a healthy brunch in Madragoa. I simpy love everything about this place: the warm tropical cozy setting, the healthy food which is absolutely delicious (try the advocado toast, the acai or  the Thai bowl, so yummie) and the genuine friendly service. The restaurant is always packed with hipsters so be prepared to wait a bit. Oh, and make sure to leave space for dessert, the Guilty Pancakes are out of this world!

5. Madame Petisca

Rua de Santa Catarina 17, Lisboa – Tel +351 915 150 860 | Google maps

Park is a rooftop parking lot turned into a garden terrace where you can enjoy  180º views of Lisbon on a sunny afternoon or by starlight through the evening. Park opens daily at 1 pm and only closes late at night. The wooden patio furniture and the small potted trees create a casual feeling of a garden which becomes very popular at night with regular DJ performances and open air cinema sessions. The place can get very crowded during summer.
