Are you looking a fun family activity while staying with us? One great thing to do in La Porte is Geocaching. If you have never heard of Geocaching you can click here to go to an extremely informative site all about it. Essentially, you download an app on your smart phone and start a hunt for treasure. The app we use is called Geocaching. It uses your GPS and helps you navigate to fun hidden treasures. Please remember to keep it fun for everyone you need to sign the log book and follow the basic geocaching etiquette such as leaving the treasure for the next person to find. There are seven sites within a short walk from our cottage. There are over 20 geocaches in La Porte. While staying with us, try your hand at Geocaching!
