Handmade Soaps in Hokitika
We have two very clever people here in Hokitika making soaps from natural products.
They look amazing, smell delicious and are beautiful products to use. You can buy direct from the makers on their websites or you can talk to them face to face at the Revell Street market on Saturday mornings. The Hokitika I-site also stocks some of the products.

Soaps can be one of two things: Complicated or Simple.
The complicated version is often mass produced with cheap ingredients and full of synthetic chemicals, palm oil, artificial colorants and cheap mass produced fragrances.
The simple version is as easy as Olive Oil, Lye and Water. We love things to be simple!" The Crafty Chook.
