Serene country setting just minutes from town and the 101. Centrally located - wine country, beaches, trails, and more within easy driving distance.

Our cottage is off the beaten path, set amongst beautiful oaks with great views of valley and sky - a serene setting to relax and unwind after a day partaking of some of the many great options available here in wine country and the central coast.

The cottage comes with just about everything you might need for your home away from home. We, your hosts, live next door and are always available for any questions, issues, recommendations - or even to borrow a couple of eggs, or . . .

Like many travelers out there, I was familiar with Airbnb. After signing up to host there, I discovered Houfy, which saves guests on the outrageous services fees. I am hoping for a successful transition, as all this is fairly new to me!
I'm a young at heart 70+ with lots of life experience, having been a hair stylist, stay at home mom, face painter, wedding photographer and more. Happily married for 46 years - maybe because he supports my right brained whims and helps keep me grounded. :-) I've been retired, but not ready for the pasture - so here we are starting a new adventure - hosting a short term rental in our beautiful neck of the woods. For now, what I lack in experience, I'll make up for with much enthusiasm! -- Update -- Since October I've acquired many 5 star reviews on the other site and am very much enjoying the experience of hosting.

Getting around

We are located 1 mile up Santa Ana Rd. The further you wind your way up, the prettier the views become. We do have families of deer in the area, so keep a watchout for them. Feels remote, but we are about 6 minutes from the downtown and the 101.
