This home is lived in when not rented & full of day to day details you might expect to find in your own home!

We are 3 doors west of the Boulevard Pool & Hot Tub, right on the Boardwalk!

The space
This home was a bit of an experimental build. Many contractors were hired and fired and finally finished it back in the day when many were certain that Carlton Landing would never be built!

As a result, it is imperfect, quirky, unique and we are absolutely in love with it!

The master suite is located off the kitchen on the main level.

The second main bedroom is upstairs and adjoins the bathroom.

The other upstairs room is a bit of a bunkroom, also adjoining the bath. There are 2 queen beds and some clothing storage. There is also a unique sitting area and two windows overlook the charming Boardwalk.

The upstairs would be ideal for a slumber party atmosphere. Sleeping space is adequate, but it is more of a shared space.

THERE ARE NO TVS IN THE SLEEPING AREAS! There is a TV in the living room and a TV in the kitchen.

Both full bathrooms include vanity mirrors with built in blue tooth speakers. These are easily paired with your phone to enjoy music in the bathroom.

Full coffee, tea, hot chocolate bar is provided.

You will find plenty of condiments and spices that you are welcome to use. Some may be opened, so use or not as suits you best.

The kitchen is stocked with some basic meal items that you are welcome to. It might be a relief to have a snack after a late arrival with hungry kiddos. Please help yourself to any meal items you would like.

The stove is original with the house and does have automatic ignition. However, the front right burner needs to be manually lit. A lighter is on the counter to the right of the stove for your convenience.

Real living plants are located throughout the home to help refresh and clean the air. There is a fresh herb garden in the little fenced in front yard, down the stairs to the right of the deck door next to the chimney - facing the Boardwalk. Herbs are marked, help yourself!

The gas fireplace works, but is temperamental. The switch is built into the wood paneling to the right of the fireplace, under the DVD player. It might need to be turned on and off a few times before the fireplace wakes up and operates properly.

Guest access
There are keypad locks on the front and side door (by the chimney). Your unique code will be provided prior to check in.

The front door knob may need to be pulled shut when locking the bolt. There is a bit of give.

You are welcome to use all of the house, porch, deck, parking area and fenced yard.

Other things to note
Boat and Trailer Storage:
There is no boat or trailer parking at the property. There is an area near the "Overlook" at the entrance of Carlton Landing where both can be parked.

Additional vehicles may be parked here as well. Many guests will elect to park their travel vehicles here and use a golf cart to get around town. These can be rented at Carts of Carlton.

Additional vehicle parking:
Either side of Park Street, which runs east and west through the center of town.
Either side of Water Street - Mama Tig's and the Carlton Landing Community Church are located on Water Street.
The large lot to the east of The Meeting House and just north of Carlton Landing Academy, near Ridgeline and Boulevard.

Sidewalk and Road Safety:
The sidewalks and Boardwalk are purposely built wide enough for 2 people to walk side by side comfortably. Please use them whenever possible. While the streets are narrow and seem quiet at times, they are true town roadways. Please walk, ride and drive safely!

Extra items:
Batteries may be found in the white chest of drawers in the dining rooms. If you need any, please feel free to use them!
Doggie bags are located in the first right side drawer in the butler pantry. There are several dog trash stations located throughout Carlton Landing. These include clean up bags and trashcans.
General household hand tools can be found in the second drawer in the butler pantry. Any odd item you may need will likely be found here.
Laundry soap is located in the drawer below the washing machine.
Extra mix and match towels are in the laundry cabinet in the event that the towels provided in each bathroom are not sufficient.
A plunger for restroom accidents may be found in the drawer below the laundry dryer.
Hangers have been provided in the upstairs closet and the living room coat closet. There is a hanging bar in the laundry room with hangers. An additional hanging stand is in the laundry room and may be moved to any room for your convenience.
Mop and broom may be found in the living room coat closet.
Cleaning products may be found under the kitchen sink and in the washer/dryer lower drawers.
