Welcome to our mid-century modern beach box. Renovated in 2016 this 1,060 sq. ft home is located in the heart of Nags Head on the beach side. We are in walking distance to the beach, Dowdy's Park, the OBX YMCA, shops, restaurants, grocery stores & more. You will have access to surf boards, beach supplies and more. We are located on a very quiet & safe cul-de-sac with little traffic.*Pet Fee 150$ please add your pet to the reservation at the time of booking.The spaceThe Saturday House was our primary residence where we were raising and loving our 4 beautiful children for four years. We have just recently moved on to a bigger home in the next town over, Kill Devil Hills. We like to live simply and be outside often. Our home features an open floor plan. When you walk in the front door you see the living space that connects to the dining and takes you right into our kitchen. Our idea behind this design in that you are able to be in the kitchen cooking up a storm while you still feel connected to the rest of the home and family, not missing a beat. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with a full bath and 1 sink vanity. Also, in the master, is a little bonus room connected by a doorway (no door here). This bonus space could be an additional sleeping space with a blow up mattress if desired. There is also a dresser you will have access to. The queen and both full beds are topped with memory foam to keep you comfy while you sleep. In our open, emerald + copper kitchen you will find the stove, farmhouse sink, dishwasher and everything necessary to prepare food at home while you stay. We have a Keurig coffee machine. We have a gas grill for guest to use. Remember those 4 beautiful children I was mentioning above? One is an exceptional child with a rare genetic syndrome called Glass syndrome. He is a runner. He is the reason we fenced in our yard and gated the driveway. We LOVE our little cottage on the Outer Banks. We ask that you treat it with the same love that you would treat your own little piece of paradise. Beach chairs + toys. The starter kit includes, paper towels, toilet paper, dish washer detergent, laundry detergent, trash bags & hand soap. We have cable TV in the living room. The living room has a smart TV. Each bedroom has its own smart TV but no cable. You can hook up to your Netflix or amazon account if you wish. You have access to 3 surf boards. We just added a SONOS speaker, instructions on how to use will be available at the house.Other things to noteStarter kit for the cottage includes one roll of paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper, trash bags and dish detergent/dish washer detergent. The guest is responsible to supply any additional items they may need/want during the stay.
