Unwind in quiet spot in paradise.

Enjoy indoor-outdoor living in our bright, open home... Relax on lanai overlooking lush vegetation and lava outcrops, smell the fragrant Hawaiian air and listen to the waves crash in the distance. Secluded and quiet--a garden oasis far from the maddening crowd (read: 45 min from Hilo) Open windows allow for trade-wind ventilation throughout the home (read:no AC). Rainwater-harvest for showers/sinks (triple filtered), spring water for drinking in kitchen. (read: rural).

Other things to note
Our house is just a ten minute walk to the dramatic Puna cliffs and two miles from the trailhead to the only non-black sand beach in Puna, Ha'ena/Shipman. It is a 10 mile unpaved drive (Gov't Beach Rd) to the old Kapoho area and our newest black-sand beach (created since 2018 eruption). This is a rural, residential area, quiet hours from sunset to sunrise everyday. Thanks for being a nice neighbor.
