The Getaway is an intimate, mid-century modern boutique hotel. This 5BR listing provides an opportunity to book the entire complex and have it all to yourself. By choosing this option, there will be no guests staying at the hotel other than members of your group.

The Getaway is perfect for small to medium sized events. PLEASE CONTACT THE MANAGEMENT BEFORE BOOKING YOUR RESERVATION if you plan to be staging an event or party that will include additional guests other than the ones registered as staying overnight. There is an extra fee to do so, and proof of event insurance will be required.

Large Mid-Century 5BR (aprx 2700 sq ft) in quiet building located in the Spa Zone of Desert Hot Springs, CA. 5 Bedrooms (queen size beds), 5 baths, living room, dining area and kitchen. Off-street parking available.

This mid-century modern boutique hotel complex is comprised of 5 spacious, fully furnished apartments. Comfortable, stylish "homes away from home" nestled in the hills of Desert Hot Springs. All units have full kitchens, baths, central heat, A/C. Pool & hot tub on site. Original mid-century details throughout. The open floor plans lend themselves to casual and relaxed living.

The front doors lead out to a large patio with palm trees, pool and hot tub*. Your backdrop during the warm sunny days and star filled desert nights will be the spectacular vista of the Little San Bernardino Mountains. Enjoy the panoramic mountain and valley views and the nearby windmill fields. It's a perfect setting to simply relax and rejuvenate.

Nearby resorts feature the most unique natural mineral springs found anywhere in the world. Naturally hot thermal waters fill pools and spas and treat a wide variety of ailments. The drinking water (which comes right out of the tap) has been rated best and 2nd best in the world for several years running.

For a modest fee, guests can obtain day passes to nearby spas that offer some of the best thermal mineral baths and spa treatments in the Desert Hot Springs area. Hope Springs and Tuscan Springs are within walking distance. And less than 10 minutes away are Two Bunch Palms Resort & Spa and the Desert Hot Springs Hotel & Spa, both featuring spa treatments, good restaurants, and occasionally live entertainment.

The Getaway is freeway close, on bus lines, near shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants. It's a 15 minute drive to Palm Springs, 30 minutes to Joshua Tree, 2 hours to San Diego or Los Angeles, and just 20 minutes to the best discount shopping at the gigantic Cabazon Outlet Mall. Two of the areas premiere golf courses are less than a 5 min drive. Nearby is a city park with tennis and basketball courts, a baseball field, and skating course. The Getaway is a perfect location for family reunions, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and Snowbirds. Pet fee – optional, pets are allowed on a case by case basis. The pet fee is $25 per pet/per day.
