Built in 1960 & regularly updated this mid-Century modern condo oozes style & reflects our investment in a greener earth: natural gas, foam injected block walls, custom steel gates, stained concrete floors, desert plants, artificial grass & modern fixtures have reduced water 600,644 gal/yr! Condo features a new kitchen, reclaimed quartz counter tops & back splash, reclaimed exotic stone island, industrial skylights & LED down lighting. Walk or 2 minute Uber ride to wonderful restaurants & bars.We literally tore this place apart, down to the studs, starting in September 2018, completing it three months later. Everything was replaced or freshened in some manner. New kitchen cabinets and new exotic stone island and quartz countertops and backsplash, new bathroom vanity and shower etc... Much of the furniture is from my personal collection (lightly used) as is much of the art. We intentionally went a bit quirky and vintage with the living room furniture. You'll either love it or hate it but you'll agree that nothing is vanilla in this home. While I'm proud of the place my goal is to serve my guests so please do not hesitate to share with me things you don't love or would like to see done differently. Oh, and the courtyard wall mural (sunflowers) was completed and recently "freshened" by a artist friend of ours. We hope you love it!

ZERO smoking of any kind is allowed inside the property. Courteous smokers are welcome to smoke outside as long as they clean up after themselves. We have no ash trays on site. Just be considerate of others and we're all good.

Parking Included

We offer one covered "carport" space in the back. It generally accommodates large-ish pickups. If you have something tall we do have an uncovered space that will work for you.

Getting around

There are ample places to walk to, a bus stop at the end of our street and a light rail stop 1.6 miles away but it's not a pleasant or enjoyable walk.

Check In: 4PM - Flexible

You'll receive access information as well as my phone number after you book your reservation. I live on site and try to make things super easy for everyone. You can pretty much check in as late as you want.

Check Out: 11AM

No pets

Minimum age limit for renters: 21

Maximum occupancy: 4

House Rules

Check-In at 4:00pm and Check-out at 11:00 a.m. In some cases we can assist with early check-ins or late checkouts but we cannot guarantee it due to other guest check-in needs.

At check-out:
*please do NOT strip the beds as we like to fully inspect them and pre-treat them as needed.
*please DO clean any pots, pans, dishes, eating utensils, cups and glasses you use. If you leave a couple of items for us to clean that’s cool.
*please DO use our recycling cans. You'll find instructions at the home when you arrive.
*please, please, please do NOT use the washcloths to remove makeup or other staining products. You'll find clean older clothes in the vanity for such purpose.

Breakage or Damage
Life happens and things break or get damaged. We understand that. Please let us know if you do break something or accidentally damage something. Unless it’s egregious, it’s a cost of our doing business. We have no desire to charge people for incidental damage. But communicating with us and letting us know is awesome and helps us to be ready for the next person checking in, plus it’s super courteous of you!

Noise
You share the courtyard with a long-term resident. If you would kindly keep this in mind when you walk to and from your home so as not to disturb these people with loud-ish talking or noise from devices.

*****IMPORTANT - do not use charcoal or wood in either the BBQ or the fire pit. DOING SO CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS TO YOU AND/OR CAN DESTROY THE APPLIANCE(S). These are propane gas only. Contact me with questions or for help.*****

Pets
This condo is designated as "no pets." Our other condo is pet friendly. Reach out for info on that one.

Temperature Sensors - you might notice a small, white, square-ish device on a table or dresser; its temperature sensor. These sensors communicate with the main thermostat to keep the home super comfortable. Please do not move them as your comfort might be compromised. To learn more visit ecobee.com.

Notes

We like to do pretty much everything we can for our guests. The two things we ask is 1) do not strip the beds. This way it's easier to see any marks on the sheets so we can pretreat them and 2) IF IF you don't mind, load and start the dishwasher before you leave. The cycle takes over an hour to run; if you don't mind start it and leave. We'll take care of the rest. There are four locked cabinets in the kitchen. They simply have supplies. CALL ME IF YOU NEED ANYTHING AND IF I CAN I'LL BRING IT TO YOU FOR FREE. :-)

If you break or damage something or stain something let me know so we can be prepared when you leave. I understand that "life happens" and that's part of being a host, but communicating with us allows us to correct the situation a lot faster and easier. In short, use your best judgement and be mindful and considerate, doing so helps me to get our cleaning person back to her kids quicker.

Please use the luggage stands (vs our white beds) if you please. :-)
