Beautifully renovated and cozy home in Madison, VA. Unit B is the bottom level of a duplex offering a peaceful setting, amazing views, close to wineries, wedding venues, hiking. New SAUNA! Near Early Mountain Vineyards, Prince Michelle, Yoder's Market, Bald Top Brewing & Plow & Hearth. A 20 - 30 min drive to Charlottesville, Greene, Shenandoah National Park, Culpeper & Orange, offering shopping, restaurants, breweries, hiking, antiquing, site seeing and more. Pet fee $35 per night, dogs only.
Unit B is the bottom unit of the renovated duplex, including newer HVAC & windows, private entrance, washer, dryer, quartz counters and private fire pit. You may hear footsteps and other sounds at times from guests upstairs. We offer sound machine and earplugs for light sleepers. DRY SAUNA!

Getting around

While visiting the rural area you will need to have a car to travel to various destinations. Not likely that you will catch an Uber or cab. If you live on the East Coast you can take the Amtrak to Culpeper and rent a car. The nearest airport is in Charlottesville, a quick 30 min drive to Madison down route 29. Routes 230 & 231 are scenic byways and offer breathtaking views of the farmlands and mountains. 20 min drive to the base of the Shenandoah National Park in Greene County where you can drive across Skyline Drive.
