While third-party platforms are rigid and usually only allow simple "yes/no" booking options, our private site gives us the flexibility to handle the custom biosecurity clearances required by our licensed veterinarian. We absolutely love animals and want to make things as simple as possible for our guests. If you had to search to find Dream Retreats LLC’s private site, or if you booked a third-party stay just to see our welcome book and find us, please know we would have loved to guide you here directly from the start! However, third-party platforms legally restrict hosts from sharing outside contact information via text or voice, and they will ban any host who mentions other booking avenues.

To protect against unvetted animals, the booking software I use to sync all advertising platforms into one calendar only has a yes/no option for all platforms, therefore, is globally set to "No Pets". Please do not be alarmed if your portal displays this status. Rest assured, your manually added fee and written host approval serve as your official booking confirmation while we work with Hospitable on seeking a flexible system fix.

Why Do We Require a Biosecurity Clearance Mandate?
I am the proud owner and operator of TSEEKHAH (Complete Darkness) Kennel for Phenomenal Giant Schnauzers. Our dogs are highly trained, UKC and AKC registered, hold both national and international champion titles, ranked at the top of their breed globally, best of breed, achieved Canine Good Citizen titles, and won awards and high rankings in numerous sports and competitions. This elite animal husbandry program's home base is the Moberly, MO property (though, of course, our dogs will not be present during your stay) and carries to the base locations our animals live beyond Missouri as well.

Infestations, diseases, and contamination can remain on a property for up to a year after just one infected animal leaves spreading to incoming animals which can easily infect, hurt, sterilize or even take life. This also means both affiliates businesses will be forced to shut down for animals (humans too depending on the issue) for a year after it surfaces and gets fully premeditated (some diseases do not show until pregnancy or after birthing). During whelping seasons, newborn puppies emerge with virtually no immune systems. Introducing diseases, contagions, contamination, or infestations to the property is highly deadly to this precious new life. To open our dream home to the public, we must strictly protect our animals and our livelihood re: ALL incoming animals regardless of title or function.

Not only are you going to have peace of mind knowing Dream Retreats carries by nature a higher level of cleanliness and medical protection, but having a health check verified and Host written clearance protects you in the event a veterinarian sees anything at any time down the line of concern, you have proof your registered animal was cleared upon entry did not cause the issue creating a financial protection plan for your pet or companion. Because an un-vetted animal is so dangerous for husbandry livestock, states and host carries at severely higher legal and financial consequence.

Pampering Your Approved Pups... Once your animal is approved, rest assured they will be completely spoiled! Your welcome starter basket will include a toy and treats. Plus to use during your stay a dedicated outdoor dog bowl system alongside plush, dog bed(s) with protective layers are provided. After all, they are totally worth it!

Medical Clearance Requirements: All animals (including service animals) require a licensed veterinarian health check on official letterhead within 3–7 days prior to arrival proving freedom from and out of windows for zoonotic diseases, a clear fecal test, current vaccines, no active heat or parasites, and not within pre or active whelping windows. Host must be able to verify the legitimacy of the document with the veterinarian by way of number on the health check record. Animals must also be fully bathed within 24 hours before entry. IF one animal in the reserved animal list does not pass the health check, then that disqualifies all animals, no pet fees will be assessed and your fur baby will need to have other accommodations during your stay and will not be allowed on grounds; Our town has multiple licensed doggie resorts. Our management system may say no pets, but if it does, it is generically set to one thing and since we can not access clearance through other platforms, then I can put the pet clearance fee in manually. Allergy: Due to severe allergy of cats in direct contact relation to Host, only dogs and licensed ADA horses are eligible for clearance. 2 maximum unless approved in writhing by Host for special, rare circumstances.

ADA protected animals: Must follow ADA regulations Title II and III at all times during stay, ADA human or representative must answer the two legal ADA questions to acknowledge ADA for waivers and allowances. Minimal ADA regulated allowances such as special allowance on fee and animal can be on all furniture with handler during time of need to actively mitigate, cure and perform assigned duties required at that moment. Transparency: unfortunately this home built est. 1900 was not created with physical limitations in mind, therefore it will provide multiple challenges including stairs to outside doors, multi level floors and only a half bath downstairs. Some needs require others close by, so know there are 2 couch beds on the main level (library futon we feel is amazingly cumphy). I do plan to purchase a portable downstairs bath for special situations, however we do not have that yet. There is a light weight shower chair upstairs. The YMCA has main floor showers with a day pass, so if you want to do that let me know and sometimes or my assistant can get that pass fee waived. Protecting Genuine Needs Guests: Rampant fake service animal fraud directly harms individuals who genuinely rely on active, trained service animals, creating unfair barriers and safety risks for legitimate handlers. Unchecked fraudulent claims burden the short-term rental industry and make it harder for guests with authentic needs to travel smoothly. Misrepresenting a pet as a mandatory medical equipment service animal carries serious legal consequences under state and federal ADA regulations, as well as strict liability and consequences with the Host; I protect my ADA guests.

$75 per animal, per stay per animal to cover specialized cleaning supplies and extra wear and tear. You will be asked upon checkout to clean up after your animal and remove all traces at the end of your stay. See Agreement for (pretty standard) house rules.
