Spacious Chalet w/Lake Access - Dog Friendly - Fryeburg

Dog friendly & spacious, with private lake access! Centrally located in Fryeburg, you have a small shopping plaza within walking distance while still feeling like you’re in the middle of the woods in a quiet, family friendly private neighborhood. Tax free outlet shopping is 20 minutes away in North Conway, but you can drive in any direction & hit great restaurants, hiking, multiple ski areas & ATV/Snowmobile trails. 2 levels plus a loft & a large deck, plenty of room for the family.

The space
2.1 miles from the fairgrounds. Snowmobile trails run through the property. Private trail from backyard to the lake in winter (too muddy in summer, alternate route via association roads)

1700 square feet to spread out plus a large deck and yard with a fire pit. 3 arcade machines in the basement (Star Wars, The Simpsons, Pac-Man, no quarters needed).

XL dog crate can be set up upon request.

Private lake access is a 7 minute walk shared by about 20 homes (small HOA) is available in July and August; it is generally flooded in spring, early summer and late fall due to melt and rains although still accessible if you want to launch a kayak or a canoe. There is a dock adjacent but that does NOT belong to our association - beach to the left of the path is ours, to the right is privately owned. Beach chairs with carry straps available to borrow. Beach cart also available.

Please bring your own camp wood if you plan to use the fire pit.

In winter: plow company will plow you out, salt, and shovel a path to the door when snowfall is over 2 inches. Beyond that you are provided a bucket of a sand/salt mixture and a shovel to ensure your own safe footing as conditions change. This is the woods of central Maine, so you must be willing to take this personal responsibility to rent.

Guest access
All space is up for grabs except the storage room (emergency exit only, security camera), locked utility closet and locked bedroom closets (clothes storage in the dressers or hooks on the backs of the doors)

Other things to note
25 and older for the primary renter please. NO underage drinking on the premises, no exceptions.

Sleeps up to 8 comfortably. There are loft style stairs going to the basement (baby gated) plus the ladder to the loft, so be aware of that for any mobility issues or children. Property is family friendly but not “child proof” - responsibility for child safety lies with guests and children must be supervised at all times.

Bedroom 1: King Bed

Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, pack n play can be available upon request prior to check in

Loft: 2 full size futons. It gets a bit warm up there in summer, but there are plenty of fans to spread around the AC from the main living space.

Basement: twin bunks that can sleep an adult (probably a 225-250 weight limit as they are sturdy with bunkie boards for support), queen sofa bed with a recently upgraded memory foam mattress. Plenty of floor space if you prefer to bring an air mattress too.

There is no EV charging available at the house - you will pop the breaker for the outdoor outlet if you use another appliance on that circuit. Please research available chargers in the area and prepare accordingly.

No parking in the yard past the driveway markers.
