Private Oasis surrounded by trees with hot tub, secluded pool, lighted bocce ball/ cornhole/ horseshoe court, 2 outdoor showers and top tier beach equipment and chairs for all heights and comfort, shibumi shade, large cart, cooler, etc. Clean & cozy escape with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths + memory foam sleeper sofa. Ocean view from window filled loft as your remote office or game room, strong wifi, two ice makers, filtered water, separate beverage fridge, new coastal LVP floors, screened porch with cushioned rattan gliders, multiple porches to enjoy or relax in the shade. Kitchen is well stocked and bedrooms will provide freshly laundered white Turkish cotton bath towels and sheets, cozy blankets and quilts. Beach cabana Turkish cotton towels also provided for use. Schooner Ridge Community is uniquely complete with oceanside pool, gazebo, captains chairs/deck overlooking beach & shower/foot wash on top of the dunes. Hi! Our Houfy Site is only for professional and extended friends to save on the booking fees of other sites. Therefore hopefully you already know us but if not can be found on VRBO under the same house name.

My name is Aubrey Rees. We are a Brady bunch family of two working parents in Dental and Architecture and 4 kids who live in Wilmington, NC. I grew up coming to the Outer Banks with my family every summer as a child and to have a home here has been at the top of our bucket list. We may live in Wilmington but our heart is in Duck at our family home. We have upgraded and renovated the house for cleanliness, comfort, entertainment and memories and appreciate you caring for it the way we do and helping us make our dream a reality! We have a local property manager who lives on the Outer Banks and are the eyes and ears offer home and cleans the property weekly. They are available with any urgent concerns during your stay.

Getting around

Closest Public Airport is Norfolk (Approx. 1.5 Hour Drive). A private and smaller airport is located near Pine Island and in Manteo. Great news is wherever you drive from once you park at our house weather permitting you may walk to the beach, sound, downtown, dinner, shops, etc. Golf carts may also be rented via separate vendor delivered and picked up at the house during your stay.
