Pack your swimsuits, sunscreen, and sense of adventure – your riverside retreat awaits! Tucked along the beautiful Guadalupe River in Seguin, Texas, this charming log cabin is the perfect getaway for families, couples, and groups looking to relax, reconnect, and have a little fun.

With 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, the cabin sleeps everyone comfortably and has a fully equipped kitchen ready for pancake breakfasts or Texas BBQ feasts. The screened-in porch is a fan favorite – complete with a porch swing, ping pong table, rocking chairs, and comfy seating for sipping your morning coffee or winding down after a day on the river.

Outside is where the real magic happens. Launch one of our 3 kayaks for a peaceful paddle, kick back in a hammock under the trees, or gather around the chiminea for storytelling and s’mores. We’ve loaded the cabin with classic outdoor games like corn hole and giant Jenga to keep the whole crew entertained.

The property is surrounded by wildlife – keep your eyes peeled for deer and birds – and while it feels wonderfully secluded, you're just 10 minutes from town. Grab dinner, stock up on supplies, or sample local favorites like the award-winning Burnt Bean BBQ, breweries, and even a nearby amusement park.

Want to explore more of Texas Hill Country? New Braunfels is only 30 minutes away, and both San Antonio and Austin make for easy day trips full of history, food, and fun.

Visitors enjoy exclusive access to the entire property, ensuring a private and undisturbed experience. Given the tranquil and secluded nature of our neighborhood, we kindly request your cooperation in maintaining a serene environment. Please observe outdoor quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, respecting the peaceful atmosphere for both your enjoyment and the privacy of our neighbors. Additionally, we emphasize the importance of refraining from trespassing on neighboring properties to uphold a harmonious and respectful community atmosphere. Your understanding and adherence to these guidelines contribute to a pleasant stay for everyone in our quiet retreat.

Important Information to Consider Before Booking:

Rustic Country Setting:
Embrace the charm of a true country home surrounded by nature. Expect the occasional presence of country creatures such as spiders, scorpions, and wasps. Despite regular spraying, these are part of the country experience. Living by the river brings encounters with various wildlife, including wild hogs, deer, snakes, wild birds, and gar fish. Please be aware and enjoy the unique ambiance of our countryside retreat.

Well Water Details:
The home operates on well water, and on rare occasions, you may notice a faint sulfuric smell. Rest assured, the water is meticulously filtered, clean, and entirely safe to drink.

Our Neighbor has Roosters:
Our thoughtful provision of sound machines in each bedroom ensures a peaceful night's sleep, even with nearby roosters. Relax and unwind without any disruptions from our feathered neighbors.

Occasional Hunter Sounds:
While infrequent, you may hear distant sounds of hunters. Please be aware of this possibility as you enjoy the tranquility of our rural surroundings.

Water Access:
Please be aware that you must go down multiple staircases to access to the water, and this may not be suitable for young children or individuals with difficulty navigating stairs.

Limited Parking:
Parking is available for a total of three cars. Two in the carport and one additional car in front of the house. Please plan accordingly and make the most of our cozy accommodations.

Pet Policy:
Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets under any circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a pet-free environment.

Outdoor Quiet Hours:
To ensure a peaceful environment, outdoor quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10 pm to 8 am. Kindly respect these hours for the comfort of all guests and neighbors.

Guest Limit and No Trespassing:
The property can only accommodate a maximum of six guests, and only individuals included in your reservation are permitted on the premises. Additionally, please refrain from trespassing on neighboring properties, respecting the privacy of our neighbors.

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $49 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.
