Welcome to Side B at Dam Camp! One of two tiny homes on a 3 acre property, this spacious waterfront home is located at the Lake McQueeney Dam on the banks of the Guadalupe River. Enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, sitting by the fire, relaxing in a hammock, an outdoor shower and fishing at this relaxing retreat.

Dam Camp Side B is short drive (10 miles) to Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Landa Park, Downtown New Braunfels, Comal River, Guadalupe River, and Texas's oldest dance hall, Gruene Hall.

Water levels shown in pictures are current levels with Lake Placid Dam down for repairs. Water is 3 to 6 ft in and is perfect for swimming, tubing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The river bed gently slopes into the river, so you can easily access the water. Water stays at pretty consistent level with a constant feed from the Canyon Lake Reservoir. Be sure to bring your RIVER SHOES!!!

Side B at Dam Camp is one of 2 storage container homes on the 3 acre property, so the outdoor areas and waterfront may be shared with up to 6 guests from the other property, Side A. Your house is private and all to yourself.
Grills, hammocks, covered open-air dining / lounge with sink and gas grill, fire pits, fish carving station and outdoor shower are shared.

Sid A is also available for rental if you would like to have the entire 3 acre park to yourself, please visit our profile to rent both.

The guest’s privacy and comfort is extremely important to us. We will try not to intrude on you anytime during your stay. Because there is one other unit on the property, you may see cleaners getting it ready as other guest check out and you might have some interaction with other guest on the property. The property manager (Sarah) lives down the road and is on call if any problems should arise during your stay.

Need a car to get around. There are 3 designated parking spots.

-Three acre property and waterfront is a shared space with one other unit on the property that sleeps up to 6 people, so you may be sharing property with up to 6 other people.
-There is no swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding in the restricted dam area to the left side of the property
-There is a train bridge to the right of property, so you will hear trains go by and there is a dam directly to the right, so you will hear water noise
-Home is not fenced from the water
-There is gated access to get into the property

Management fee covers 7% City tax not collected by airbnb
