The space
We have a big property but please make sure to respect nature and our neighbors.
Its nice and cool a night, even during the hot season.
For hot days we have air conditioning. If you thought a starry night over the Pacific was breathtaking, wait until you experience one at our chalet. Far from city lights, the sky opens wide above the water, revealing a canopy of brilliant stars. Tucked into the oak-dotted hills of Paso Robles, the area offers some of the darkest, clearest night skies on the Central Coast.

No Lake or dock access from this property.
Please respect the private property at the lake and do not access it. No parking at the lake.

For boating, fishing and swimming, please go to the public marina, 40 minutes drive. Lake Nacimiento Resort, Bradley.

The property is 1 hr from San Luis Obispo and 1 from Morro Bay, Cambria, and the ocean, 1.15 hr to Hearst Castle.

No guns or any kind of weapons are allowed. No hunting.
Please keep dogs on leash, we have a lot of deer but also other animals.

IMPORTANT PROPERTY & SAFETY INFORMATION

Our home is a rural chalet/cabin in a natural California countryside setting. It is not a purpose-built or child-proofed property for infants, toddlers, or small children.

There are stairs to the loft, deck/railing areas, uneven outdoor ground, natural terrain, driveway areas, and normal rural/cabin features that require care and supervision.

CHILDREN & TODDLERS
Children must be closely supervised by an adult at all times, especially around the loft stairs, deck, railings, driveway, outdoor areas, and when entering or leaving the house.

Toddlers and small children must not be left unattended near the loft stairs, deck, railings, driveway, or outside areas.

By booking and staying at the property, guests acknowledge that they have read this information and are responsible for deciding whether the property is suitable for their family, children, and pets.

PETS
Only 1 small-medium size pet is allowed.

Pets must be supervised and kept on a leash at all times when outside. Guests are responsible for the safety and behavior of their pets at all times.

This is a rural property with native wildlife, including rattlesnakes, coyotes and mountain lions. Pets must never be left unattended outdoors.

WILDLIFE & NATURAL SETTING
This is a natural rural environment, and wildlife may be present in the wider area, including deer, birds of prey, skunks, insects, spiders, scorpions, coyotes, snakes, and other animals.

Please respect all wildlife. Do not feed wildlife, do not approach wildlife, and give animals plenty of space.

NO FIRES / NO BBQ / NO OPEN FLAMES
Absolutely no fires, fire pits, BBQs, candles outside, fireworks, sparklers, or open flames anywhere on the property.

This is a rural high-fire-risk area, especially during summer and holiday weekends.

DOORS & INSECTS/ANIMALS
Please keep doors closed at all times. We do not want outside animals, insects, or the neighbor’s cat entering the house.

LAKE ACCESS
Please note there is no lake access. It is all private property.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITY
Guests are responsible for reading and following all house rules, safety information, and property instructions before and during their stay.

By booking, guests acknowledge the rural nature of the property and agree to take reasonable care in and around the home, deck, stairs, driveway, outdoor areas, natural terrain, and with all children and pets in their group.

We have central airflow and 3 air conditioning units in the house and fans in every room.
