A car is essential for getting to and from the house and exploring the area — rideshare availability in the Poconos is limited, so plan accordingly. Once you're settled in, Penn Estates is a lovely neighborhood to explore on foot, though keep in mind the terrain is hilly in places.

The primary community lake with its sandy beach is a 10-12-minute walk from the house (0.6 miles), as are the pool and playground.

For longer trips, Pocono Bliss is conveniently located near major highways, putting New York City, Philadelphia, and New Jersey all within comfortable driving distance — making it an easy escape from the city no matter where your group is coming from.
☆☆ GUEST ACCESS ☆☆

The entire home is yours. Access codes for both entry points are sent before arrival.

Upon arrival at the Penn Estates gate, guests must present a valid photo ID and license plate number to receive a temporary access pass for the duration of the stay.

*Guest Registration* — Required Prior to Arrival: Guest registration is a mandatory HOA requirement. The Guest Registration Form must be completed no later than 4 days prior to arrival (or same-day for reservations made within 72 hours of check-in) and will request the full name (first and last; including children) of every guest in the party along with driver and vehicle details for each car requiring community access. Failure to complete the form on time may result in reservation cancellation or an additional $45 fee. Full details are outlined in the A Few Things to Know section below.

The community lake and sandy beach, pools and sports courts are optional, and using them requires a Penn Estates amenity badge at $25 per person per stay. Amenities are seasonal: the pools close after Labor Day, while the lake and courts typically stay open later into the year. Penn Estates sets all hours and closing dates, which can vary with weather, maintenance and staffing. If a specific amenity matters to your stay, please message us before booking.

Apart from four inflatable paddleboards, with paddles and life jackets, for the lake, neither the home nor Penn Estates provides sports or water equipment, so please bring your own rackets, paddles and balls.
