Totally private, pet friendly farmhouse cabin with scenic views, all paved access, hot tub, fire pit, grill, coffee bar, multiple decks, minutes from several of North Georgia's best wineries.

This 3 bed 2 bath retreat is located on 3.5 private, scenic acres. It features multiple outdoor decks and is generously appointed with furnishing and activities that invite you to spend time with loved ones or to relax on your own.

White Stag Retreat is the perfect place to create special memories with your family and friends. Only 90 minutes from Atlanta and 15 minutes from downtown Ellijay, you are in the heart of the North Georgia Mountains. While the variety of local attractions is amazing, you will look forward to spending time in the cabin. Sip on a fresh cup of coffee or tea while you enjoy sweeping mountain views from our screened-in back deck, nature watching while swinging in hammock chairs on the front porch, or soaking in the brand new 6 person hot tub on the lower deck, under the stars.

The heart of this stunning cabin is an open concept great room with a stacked-stone gas fireplace, comfortable leather seating, and 55" Roku-equipped Smart HDTV, secured to a rolling entertainment center to ensure the perfect view for your whole crew. Don't feel like watching TV? Strum a tune on the acoustic guitar, spin an album on the record player, or challenge someone to a game of chess or tic-tac-toe, all just steps from the welcoming front porch.

Each morning, help yourself to our complimentary, fully stocked coffee bar. Complete with everything you need to make YOUR perfect cup of joe, we're proud to offer a Keurig, drip coffee, french press, pour over coffee, tea kettle, and coffee grinder. We also keep the bar stocked with K-cups, tea bags, hot chocolate, sugar, Truvia, half and half, and cookies.

When it is time to prepare a meal, step into the gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and lots of cooking utensils to get the job done. Our kitchen island has seating for 4 to keep you company while you prepare dinner. An outdoor grill is available to round out the cooking amenities.

The sleeping arrangements provide privacy and space for everyone. The main level king bedroom has direct access to the back deck, a dedicated working space, and ensuite bathroom. The upstairs king bedroom has a sitting area, dedicated work space, and plenty of storage. Also upstairs is a bedroom with two twin beds and the best mountain views on the property! In between the upstairs rooms is a spacious bath with granite countertops, double vanity, and bathtub. All of our rooms have large, Roku-equipped Smart HDTVs - never miss your favorite show or movie!

And finally, when visiting White Stag Retreat, there is no need to leave your four-legged best friends behind. Not only do we allow pets, but we are thrilled when you bring them along! We keep the cabin stocked with one dog bed, a set of bowls, a large crate, and of course some yummy treats - everything you need to ensure your fur babies have a great stay!

We take pride in our housekeeping team’s efforts to make sure cleaning and disinfecting procedures are followed and EPA approved chemicals are used in accordance with CDC standards. Family friendly: We provide a high chair, pack'n play, baby gates, books, and games.

Pet Friendly: Comforts for your four-legged family members include dog crate, dog bed and food bowls. The pet fee is a flat fee. Requests to bring more than three pets are approved on a case by case basis.

White Stag Retreat is located in a quiet neighborhood with all paved roads leading right up to the front door. If you are ready to relax, reconnect and create lasting memories, you have found your place. The neighborhood is very safe, but for added piece of mind, we have a Ring camera on the front door.

- King Master bedroom on UPPER level with sitting area, 42" Smart HDTV, Roku streaming services, and dedicated work space

- Twin bedroom on UPPER level with 2 twin beds with 42" Smart HDTV, Roku streaming services and mountain views

- Full bathroom on MAIN level with walk in shower and separate soaking tub, dual vanity, and toilet with convenient access from the hallway and bedroom

- Full bathroom on UPPER level with dual vanity and tub/shower combo

- Great Room has gas fireplace for year round use 55" Smart HDTV, Roku streaming services, leather couches, guitar, record player, and games.

- Additional games and books are available in the upper king bedroom.

- Kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, mixer, and slow cooker as well as glass and plastic drinkware, cooking and dining utensils, and dishes.

- Dining room has seating for 8 with 4 additional seats at the island

- Laundry room on the MAIN level includes a washer and a dryer, iron, ironing board, steamer, laundry pods, and fabric softener

- Spacious decks and front porch include swings, rocking chair, seating, hot tub, hammocks, and dinette. The fire pit, adirondack chairs, and grill are stored in the garage for safe keeping, but guests are welcome to use them on the paved, secluded drive way

Safety features: The cabin has 3 fire extinguishers and a first aid kit, as well as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Linens for each bed, (2) bath towels (1) hand towel (1) washcloth per person listed on reservation (with extras available), dressers and walk-in closets for clothing storage, central heat & air, vacuum, broom and dust pan, mop, High Speed Internet, and washer and dryer. In addition, we provide complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (3 rolls per bathroom), 2 rolls of paper towels, 4 kitchen garbage bags, hand soap for each bath and hand soap for kitchen, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets for at least 3 loads. Bathrooms are stocked with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire property, with the exception of the shed and owner's closet.

Other things to note

The beauty of this property is the heavily wooded, mountain-top location. As insects, wildlife, and some poisonous plants also live here, guests are advised to be aware of their surroundings and take necessary safety precautions while exploring. Please do not leave any food or food waste outside, and please insure all garbage is placed in bear-proof bins.
