Originally two room Cedar Hill School, built in 1900, Deep Roots Retreat is my fifth generation family home. My grandfather built all of the walls, custom cabinets and shelving transforming the schoolhouse into a home. My Granny welcomed everyone with open arms and a plate of food. Most notably, her homemade biscuits. Her biscuit cutters still hang in the kitchen as a tribute to her.
This is a home that has been lived in, cried in, celebrated in, grieved in, but most importantly loved in.
