Upon arrival, you'll find a charming personal garden space surrounded by mature greenery and towering Doug Fir trees. Relax in a hammock or on a garden swing, perfect for spending quality time together.
The highlight of this retreat is a secluded hot tub, discreetly located on the deck between camellia and andromeda trees. It's a tranquil spot to enjoy the garden views and each other's company in complete privacy.
Owl Forest Studio caters to couples, whether you're celebrating your love, taking a break on a journey, or exploring the Portland area. You'll have your own separate entrance and off-street parking, ensuring a secure and private experience. For your safety, there's a single surveillance camera on the driveway – the only one on the property.
With a quarter-acre dedicated solely to Owl Forest Studio, you'll enjoy ample visual privacy despite being on a moderately busy street, which may result in some traffic noise during peak hours.

Meet the Host
We are a husband and wife team (Debi & Rob) who share with travelers a garden studio in our primary residence in Portland, as well as our vacation home on the Oregon Coast. We've been renting since 2008; we co-founded Host2Host.org (a trade association for hosts) and have 7 lovely grandchildren. Debi is an avid gardener; Rob's passions range from being president of our local neighborhood association, to biking and family.

Getting around
Located just a block off Interstate 5 and 1/4 mile from the Sylvania Campus of PCC. A car is recommended, although we are on the 78 bus line and there is a transit center just a mile away. If you are flying in, you can Max (train) to downtown Portland and Uber/Lyft out from there. Cost will be around $15. Landmark Ford just over the bridge offers cheapest car rentals in town!
