As you enter your vacation home on the secluded screened-in porch that has a sitting area with outdoor furniture, a TV, a hammock, and a hot tub (soaking in the hot tub is a perfect way to end your long beach day)! You'll also find life jackets, pool toys, a cooler, and fishing rods - all will provide you with a head start on your Outer Banks vacation!Head down to splash in the pool surrounded by lounge chairs, outdoor table seating, and an outdoor shower; there's a grill down there, too, to get dinner going while kids play.As you go to the first floor, there are plenty of games available on the first floor with a pool table, indoor arcade basketball, and board games. Located on this level is a mini-kitchen with a wet bar, refrigerator, and a queen bedroom with an en-suite.Go up to the second floor and 4 bedrooms. Three bedrooms with a queen bed, one with bunk beds, all except one have flat-screen TV for you and your guests to enjoy and relax. Two of these rooms have private baths and the other two are connected by a jack & jill bathroom.On the third floor, you will instantly be greeted by a large living area overlooking the Pamlico Sound. The kitchen is furnished with appliances, cookware, and of course, all you need for coffee each morning! Enjoy your meals together around the dining room table. Step outside to the deck, and take in the sunsets with Pamlico sound views! This level is completed by a king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and private balcony access.After a long beach day, decamp to the family room for a movie night. This comfy space includes a flatscreen 85-inch TV with streaming access and live TV via YouTube TV and WiFi.This home is ideal for groups up to 15Location:The Tri-Villages area, consisting of Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo, is a picturesque and charming stretch of the Outer Banks. These three small communities are located on Hatteras Island. It's a haven for water sports enthusiasts, including surfers, kiteboarders, and windsurfers who flock to its shores for some of the best conditions on the East Coast. The Rodanthe Pier is a popular spot for fishing and taking in breathtaking views. And, Rodanthe beach access(with amenities) is comfortable to park your car and a couple of steps would get you to the ocean.Salvo, the southernmost village in the Tri-Villages area, is known for its tranquil and less crowded beaches. It's an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful getaway. The village offers a glimpse into the area's history with its maritime heritage, and the Salvo Day Use Area is a great place for picnics, birdwatching, and enjoying the unspoiled natural beauty of the Outer Banks. Salvo's relaxed atmosphere and picturesque surroundings make it perfect for visitors who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.The neighborhood is secluded and has a great mile loop for your morning runs. The subdivision boat ramp was great for launching your kayak and SUPs for paddling around the sound.Quirks:1. I recommend you purchase trip insurance while booking offered by Airbnb or another provider🏖 PETS:We do allow dogs (2 MAX), we just ask that you please pick up after them and don’t allow them to chew on the furniture. *Please remember to pick up after your dogs!* -- Don't leave the dog(s) home alone -- only potty trained dogs are welcome -- There is one time pet fee of 150$ per stay🏖 THE LOCATION:Across the street, easy straight access down Monitor ln to the ocean walkover, and pleasant neighborhood walking, biking, or strolling. Walking distance to restaurants and Ice Cream shop🏖 AMENITIES:We provide towels, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels & trash can liners. *THINK OF THESE ITEMS AS “STARTER KITS” - Highly recommend you bring additional items such as extra beach towels/coffee/salt/pepper/cooking spray/water bottles etc*🏖 ENTRY:There is a keypad located at the front door for a simple keyless entry. The entry code will be provided to you on the day of your arrival. The code is changed after every guest.🏖 PARKING:There is plenty of parking space on the driveway, please do not park on the grass or sand!🏖 BUGS and LIZARDS and CRITTERS, oh my!Remember that Outerbanks with its warm and humid climate and bodies of water can also make for an attractive environment for pests. This being said, with water surrounding both sides of the island, pests such as palmetto bugs, spiders, flies, mosquitoes, midges, and ants can be prevalent around your vacation rental home, as they commonly seek out food, sources of water, and cooler temperatures! This is very typical for Outerbanks. Our home is well maintained by pest control service🏖 INTERNET:The house has reliable Internet, but the speeds aren’t the fastest given the remote location. It works well for streaming Netflix on the television, multiple phones connected using social media and email, but you’ll see reduced speeds if you have multiple people performing bandwidth-heavy activities (zoom calls/downloading and uploading large files, etc.)You can access your Hulu & Netflix accounts with the Smart TV!🏖 OUTDOOR SPACE:Pool lounge chairs, hammock, three levels of decks with chairs, an outdoor shower & outside picnic table available for you to enjoy!🏖 BEDS:There are 1 king, 4 queen, and 5 twin beds (2 bunk beds), & a sectional couch, all combined can accommodate up to 16 people🏖 KITCHEN:Fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and all the basic kitchen essentials; Pots/Pans/Plates/Cups/Utensils🏖 SECURITY:A Ring doorbell is located at the staircase and outdoor security cameras are at the front of the house for your security. NO cameras inside the property
