Speakeasy style basement is super cool with a 55” Smart TV, seating, games and a cozy fireplace. Fenced backyard with TWO off street parking spaces. Well-stocked kitchen. One block to the King St Metro, same to King St. Walk to either in 5 min. Location is perfect for the DC metro while tucked on a quiet residential street

The space
Entry level features a full eat-in kitchen, dining room, living room and small back deck with table and two chairs. There are stairs down to the outdoor fenced yard with fire pit.
Have your morning coffee on the front porch in one of the two rocking chairs!
Upper level features 2 bedrooms, a sunroom, office (with wireless printer) and sun drenched bathroom (natural light!!!).
The basement level isn’t just a basement; half contains the laundry room and ground level entry while the other half is a speakeasy style lounge with a 55” Smart TV, couch, chairs, games and a cozy fireplace. Perfect to read or play cards!

We stashed a highchair, stroller and pack & play in the root cellar for visiting families, just ask. Plus an air mattress should you need an extra bed 🛏. There is a propane grill 🥩in the back ready to go. Please let is know if you plan to use it so we can check the propane before your arrival.

Alexandria is extremely dog friendly and even has some restaurants with patio dining that you can bring your puppy and dog menus. Please note. Pet damage is at FULL replacement cost and pets must be COMPLETELY cleaned up after indoors AND out. No pets in the bed or on the furniture. Guest access
The house is yours to enjoy. Most of our guests are long term stays enjoying the area while house hunting, or visiting the DC area on an assignment or tour.

If you need earlier access to store luggage, please just ask.

If you have particular needs for contractor/TDY billing or need us to work with your relocation team, please feel free to reach out. Also, just ask if there are specific things you have questions about.

Message us if you’re bringing fur babies. We have a couple dog beds and toys on site. The yard is fenced. We are pet friendly but prefer pets not on furniture or beds as all furniture is new. We can leave some extra sheets to cover things as well to keep pet hair off. Pet damage is at full replacement cost and the yard must be cleaned up before you leave. We love value and travel with our own pets and welcome yours too. If ANY pet waste is left in the home or yard, there is a $200 charge for removal.

We don’t like cleaning fees, so we keep them as low as possible but do ask that you leave the space in a respectful manner. We ask that trash be removed, a load of laundry and dishes started and that you text the housekeeper at checkout.
