Modern Western Logan Square Flat Healy Metra Stop - Chicago

Located in a 3 flat building, on the first floor. There is no elevator and appx 10 stairs to the unit.

It was built in the late 1800’s. The building is very solid but the floors squeak after 126 years.

My property is 30 minutes to the subway; 5 minutes to the commuter train and 2 minutes to buses. It is 30 minutes to downtown Chicago by car.

Off street parking is $12/night. Cars and small SUV’s only.

There is a full time tenant and a family member that live in the other 2 units.

The neighborhood is socio-economically diverse.

* Starter kit of kitchen, bath supplies for 3 night stay. if you stay longer, you’ll need to provide additional.
* Multiple bath towels, hand towels, face and body cloths.
* Wifi Speed is not guaranteed and is shared with the other 2 units.
* Communal Coin laundry shared with the other 2 units. Bring quarters and your own laundry items.
*there are friendly dogs which occupy the yard and balconies from June until November. We only host people who are comfortable and happy to be around dogs.
*there is no free street parking
* Due to the age of the building, the floors creek and noise travels.
***Chicago is the rattiest city in the US and summer 2026 promises to be the same. You will see rats at night in my yard, the alley, streets, etc.
* Please be good stewards of natural resources and do not lower AC past 71 nor heat higher than 73. Please adjust them even further when you are out for the day to conserve.
