Guest access
Vashon Island, nestled in Washington’s Puget Sound, is only reachable by ferry (or private boat/plane) unless you’ve got a portkey or magic broom—there are no bridges. The Washington State Ferries (WSF) system runs three primary vehicle ferry routes to the island, landing at either the north end (Vashon Ferry Terminal) from Southworth (west) or Fauntleroy (east/Seattle), or the south end (Tahlequah Ferry Terminal) from Point Defiance (south/Tacoma).

Ferry Schedules & Tickets: Check live schedules and purchase tickets via the WSF website or app. Round-trip fares for vehicles and passengers are paid when heading to the island; exiting is free.
