There are a few transportation options to the mainland parking area (12000 Placida Rd. Placida, FL 33946. Personal vehicle, Uber/Lyft, taxi service such as Salty Girls Transportation
If coming in from the south (Punta Gorda or Ft. Myers) take US 41 to Hwy 776/McCall Rd., turn left on Gasparilla Rd and follow past the rightward curve, parking will be on the right. Loading zone will be on the right.
If coming from the north (Sarasota/Tampa), Interstate 75, take exit to River Road, follow south west which corsses US 41 and turns into Winchester Rd. Follow to Placida Rd, turn left. Loading will be on the right and parking will be kn the left. There is a loading only area where you will place your luggage, groceries, and other belongings in a pull cart to load on the ferry. A ferry pass signed by the owner myst be presented to the captain at the time of boarding. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to ferry departure to allow adequate loading at the dock and parking across the street.
