Your two premium hotel rooms feature a pool ocean view room, a mountain view room, or a premier garden pool view room, bright island decor, and private lanais – a true Hawaiian home away from home.

Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort is an upscale, family-friendly resort near Lydgate Beach, where you can bask in the sun with a beachfront location and beach massages. If you’re an early riser or if you’re on jet lag, make sure to take a 3-minute walk to catch the incredible sunrise at Nukolii Beach. Treat yourself to reflexology, a body wrap, or a Thai massage at the onsite spa. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and a poolside location at the 3 on-site restaurants. Yoga classes are offered at the gym; the property also has a coffee shop/cafe, a garden, and a playground.

Free in-room WiFi is available to all guests, along with dry cleaning/laundry services and 2 bars. Additional perks include 4 outdoor pools, a children's pool with a waterslide, pool umbrellas, valet parking (surcharge), bell desk service (you can store your luggage for early arrival or late flight), wedding services, vending machines, elevators, a banquet hall, a business center, and a gift shop.

Note: We are the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort, which is separate from the Kauai Beach Villas. The Kauai Beach Villas by Wyndham, located in the condominium complex next door, are facing structural issues with the building and are scheduled to cease operations in 2026. It has a similar name, but we are separate entities.

Resort Amenities

Guests can use all the self-service amenities, such as the gym or the pool. Additionally, you have the option to use the surcharge activities, including the spa, restaurants, and bars, or book a tour (such as a helicopter tour) through the concierge desk. However we are not part of the hosted classes like the koi feeding class or yoga classes. In addition there is no daily turn-down service.

Resort pool: Make a splash and enjoy one of our four refreshing resort pools, our lava rock waterfall, and our waterslide. Perfect for the kids and kids at heart!

Pool hours: 8 am - 10 pm

Waterslide hours: Mon - Thurs 9 am - 11 am & 1 pm - 3:30 pm, Fri - Sun 9 am - 11 am & 1 pm - 4 pm

Fitness: Wellness doesn't have to stop just because you're on vacation! Get in a workout at our 24/7 Fitness Room.

Food & Drinks: Locally-inspired fresh cuisine on the Garden Isle, local ingredients, island-inspired dishes, signature cocktails and get a taste of the island's live music nightly. Enjoy the flavors of Kauai at our on-property restaurants and bars, feed your soul, and escape to paradise.

1. Open for breakfast and dinner, Naupaka Terrance Restaurant celebrates the bounty of the island and its diversity of cultures and cuisines. Dine either indoors or outdoors at our oceanside garden setting and taste the flavors of classic Hawaiian dishes with an elevated, sophisticated point of view.

Breakfast hours: 6:00 - 11:00 am

Dinner hours: 5:30 - 9:00 pm (Tuesday - Saturday)

2. Driftwood Bar & Grill: join us by the pool for a quick bite to eat or for your favorite aloha spirit. Now also offering daily poolside happy hour drink specials.

Bar hours: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Happy hour: 3:00 - 4:00 pm

Dining hours: 11:00 am - 4:30 pm

3. Cap off your day at Shutters Lounge, the lively gathering place. Enjoy daily Happy Hour specials or a locally-inspired dinner, pre-dinner tropical cocktail, or post-dinner nightcap. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, including a fire pit on the patio. Featuring live music nightly (schedule subject to change).

Spa: Hawaiian Rainforest Spa is a reflection of Kauai and the geographic wonders of the tropical Hawaiian Islands. You’ll find a peaceful haven to restore, rebalance, and rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit. Our philosophy embraces sincere respect for our Aina (the land) and incorporates Kauai’s indigenous botanical products in our signature treatments.

Fees explained :

* The total cost you see includes both the checkout cleaning fee and the resort fee.
* Hotel parking is available for $40 USD per night, and payment can be made directly at the front desk.
* For your convenience, the resort is easily accessible from the airport via a short Uber ride.
* If you are looking for 1 room, 2 rooms combined that sleep up to 7, 3 rooms combined that sleep up to 9, or 4 rooms combined that sleep up to 11, we have two Pool Ocean View rooms, a Premier Garden View room, and a Mountain View room. Please message us for details.

Resort renovations:

The resort periodically undertakes renovation projects (currently upgrading one of the restaurants, followed by the cultural center, fitness center, and meeting spaces later in the year/next year) aimed at significantly enhancing our guest experience. The resort is diligently working to minimize any disruption to our valued guests while these important upgrades are in progress.
