SECOND FLOOR:
Features a full kitchen with laundry, a full bath with a tub/shower, a dining area, and a cozy living room with an enchanting gas log fireplace.

A romantic Victorian Queen bedroom offers lovely summer views over the Farm Road Estate grounds, weddings, events, lighted trees, and Mt. Snow.

📐 NOTE ON THE SECOND BEDROOM: There is a side bedroom with a twin-size bed directly off the Victorian room. This space is accessed via the main bedroom. Please see the floor plan layout in our photos for details.

Step out onto the massive private deck with outdoor furniture to enjoy the beautiful Vermont weather and scenic valley views!

THIRD FLOOR LOFT:
An expansive upper suite featuring two queen beds and a full-size futon. The loft includes its own bathroom with a shower, a comfortable sitting area, and panoramic views of the estate and Mount Snow (we even leave binoculars for you!).

Guest access
You have exclusive access to the entire second and third floors, which are completely separated from the downstairs unit by a locked vestibule door for your privacy.

🚗 PARKING & ARRIVAL:
The 1827 House is located directly on RT100 with easy access and dedicated parking. Our parking lot conveniently connects right with the West Dover Inn and the 1846 Tavern lot.

📍 THE PERFECT VILLAGE LOCATION:
Leave your car behind! You are in a prime, highly walkable spot in the heart of the village. Step onto the sidewalks to easily walk to:

* Local dining and spots (1846 Tavern, The Sawmill Inn, Saloon, Pizzeria)

* Weddings and events right across the street at Farm Road Estate

* Miles and miles of scenic hiking and biking trails

* Mt. Snow Golf Course (just 1 mile up the hill)

🌲 EXPLORING THE VALLEY:
If you want to venture further out, you are just a 5-minute drive to the main Mt. Snow resort area, 10 minutes to Haystack Golf Course, 6 miles to downtown Wilmington, and 20 minutes to Stratton.

Other things to note
This is an old building with a ton of character and history! Most floors are not level and rooms might not be square. The house has been beautifully renovated with modern amenities to provide a warm, inviting, and memorable stay.

GOOD TO KNOW:

📐 UNIQUE FLOOR PLAN: The second bedroom (twin bed) is located directly off the main Victorian Queen room and is accessed through it. Additionally, the expansive third-floor loft is accessed via a spiral staircase. Please review the floor plan photos!

🔊 ROAD & EVENT NOISE: We are directly on RT100, so please expect some road noise. Music from weddings across the street or local music festivals can sometimes be heard, though the town gets very quiet after 10 PM.

🚪 HOUSE LAYOUT & PRIVACY: You have exclusive access to the second and third floors. The downstairs apartment is separated by a locked vestibule door. Sound can travel between units in this historic home, so we kindly ask all guests to respect quiet hours after 10 PM.

🗝️ VT ADVENTURE CHALLENGE: Our house is part of the challenge! You will see an old safe out by the garage where adventurers may be exploring.

💻 MODERN COMFORTS: High-speed fiber internet is available throughout via a nested system (includes a monitor to connect your laptop for workcations). We also provide coffee to start your day!

🛡️ SECURITY: A security camera floodlight is present at the rear entrance/garage area facing the parking lot.
