Harbor view guest suite - Port Orchard

THE SPACE
This 1,100 sq ft open-concept private suite with 9-ft ceilings is located on the ground floor of our home but is not accessibility-friendly (a few steps down from the driveway) and is not child-proof. The building has central heating and cooling with excellent air quality and humidity control for year-round comfort. We're on Manchester city water with a septic system (no wet wipes, please).

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Sleeps up to 5 guests (max 4 adults). A Tempur-Pedic bed, plus a comfortable full-size IKEA sofa bed at the far end of the suite. A twin XL memory-foam mattress stored in the closet can pair with the sofa bed trundle-style for kids, or serve as a third bed.

KITCHENETTE
A convection toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, electric kettle, drip coffee maker, and egg steamer are available for preparing simple meals. Just set used dishes and utensils aside in the dish bin and we'll swap in clean ones, so you never have to wash up in the sink. Charcoal bbq available by request in clear weather except during burn bans.

LAUNDRY
Weekly laundry service available, and we're happy to replenish linens too. The nearest laundromat and laundry service is an 8-minute drive.

GUEST ACCESS
The suite and the grassy outdoor area pictured are all yours! We live upstairs through the sound-insulated ceiling and there are no shared walls. Help is always close by, but your privacy is respected.

PARKING
There is space for one vehicle on our concrete driveway. Our property is located off of a quiet private road that we share with two neighbors, so we ask that you drive slowly, park and turn around only within our concrete driveway, and treat neighboring properties with the same care you'd want for your own.

OUR HOSTING PHILOSOPHY
We've made our home in this quiet waterfront neighborhood and love sharing it with guests who come to wind down and take in the peaceful surroundings. When you stay with us, we'll treat you like family; the only thing we ask in return is that you treat the space, the property, and our neighborhood with the same care. Our suite isn't a fit for parties, events, or gatherings, and we observe quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. If that sounds like your kind of getaway, we'd love to host you. EXTENDED STAYS
For longer stays, we will ask you to sign a simple short-term rental agreement confirming house rules, stay duration, and responsibilities. Please note the property address may not be used for mail forwarding, official documents, or residency purposes. The standard cleaning fee covers normal turnover; cleaning beyond typical use is billed separately (see house rules).
