Hi, I'm Shiyi! I'm a public health professional who gave up city life to live closer to nature on the Kitsap Peninsula. I've previously called Boston, Ottawa, Tokyo, and Beijing my home. I'm a retired semi-pro distance runner; these days I enjoy hiking and road cycling for fun. I spend my free time learning about regenerative farming, and my goal is to start a farm-to-table caf

From Southworth Ferry Terminal:
- 26 min passenger-only ferry to Seattle Center (Pier 50)
- 15 min car ferry to Vashon Island
- 30-35 min car ferry to West Seattle
From our property:
- 40 min drive to Tacoma
- 40 min drive to Green Mountain State Park, for access to hikes with views of the Olympic mountains
- 70 min drive to historic Port Townsend and the cider route
