Escape to the Roseway Retreat - Portland

We’re pleasantly situated in the Roseway neighborhood. Our beautiful, light filled guest wing is perfect for your next peaceful retreat. We're well equipped for your stay, whether you're here working or using our space as your home base to enjoy our vibrant city.

The space
Our vaulted wing consists of a private living room with breakfast nook, tucked away kitchenette, private bath, and private queen bedroom with a brand new split ductless heating and cooling system. We have a twin fold-out ottoman in the living room and a pack n play for little ones. (Please inform us if you’d like to utilize either of these options and we’ll get the linens ready for you!) Our living room features several books, games, a dining table, and Roku TV.

We have excellent fiber internet if you're working from home, video chatting, or streaming video games and all other devices. We have had many guests work and video conference from our home. There is a private patio with Adirondack chairs for you to relax outdoors, weather permitting.

Our apartment is all ground floor with no stairs required to access any of the rooms. Perfect for those who don’t care for stairs!

Guest access
To enter the south wing, walk up the driveway, through the courtyard, to the third door on the left. We have motion sensor lights so you can see where you’re going during these long winter nights.

Look for the welcome mat and small table, the glass door is yours. If you get to the garden beds, you've gone too far.

The entryway courtyard is shared between residents and guests. On the other side of the house we have a private patio with Adirondack chairs directly outside your bedroom for you alone.

The south wing of our house is a completely separate space from the rest of the home. It shares two interior walls with our residents.

There are two doors between you and the main house that are dead-bolted from both sides and you never have to worry about anyone else in your personal space.

Other things to note
You are free to come and go anytime you’d like. We have motion sensor lights in our courtyard and the keypad door is accessible any time during your stay. We have installed lights near the doorway but due to the darkness of the keypad you may find your cell phone’s flashlight feature helpful if you’re coming and going in the dark.

Our kitchenette is small and has several cooking appliances. However, if you are looking for space to make involved meals, this is probably not the rental you're looking for. The kitchenette has a few appliances on one circuit. When you use one item that draws heat like the convection oven or induction cook top, please refrain from using the microwave and toaster as well. Doing so will trip the breaker.

As listed above, our quiet hours are from 10 PM through 7 AM. Please respect our residents and keep the noise down during these hours.

Please ensure the total number of guests you book reflects the number of guests staying. If you are booking for a work colleague or friend, they must be invited to the reservation through Airbnb so all of our house rules and communication with all guests in our home so there are no miscommunications.
