Destination-OBX 8 Bdrm, 6 Bath Semi-Ocean Front - Nags Head

You HAVE arrived when you stay at Destination-OBX! This 8 bedroom, 6 bath home is your perfect destination for an extended-family beach vacation! New to Airbnb, and completely renovated, this sparkling clean home is a 1 minute walk to the beach access. The beach here at MM17.5 is lifeguarded and wide open. This beach access is one of the best in OBX with separate men's and women's bathrooms, running water and outside showers.
After spending the day at the beach, back at the house your family can enjoy a view of the ocean and wide open views of the surrounding neighborhood from the top deck while sitting in the ample deck furniture. Or perhaps spend time playing in the pool or relaxing in the hot tub. For those seeking some quiet time, the front porch swing is an inviting spot to listen to the sounds of the ocean.

We have been busy remodeling this home after purchasing it in December 2020. To date the whole home has new luxury vinyl flooring and has been painted top to bottom including the trim! The kitchen is updated with white cabinets and solid surface countertops. All the bedding, sheets and towels are new for the 2021 season as well as a large amount of deck and pool furniture.

Ground floor: Keyless entrance, game room with pool table and foosball table, mini kitchen with sink, refrigerator, microwave, seating area, smart TV. Access to hot tub and private pool through back door and gated fence. King bedroom (#6) with shared full bathroom, pyramid bunk room (#7) has a twin over a full size bed and a trundle underneath. Bedroom #8 has a bunk bed (2 twins) and a day bed with a trundle underneath. Outside storage area with ample supply of beach chairs of all shapes and sizes. (If you are bringing bikes, there is enough room to store them in this recently built shed. A tarp is provided to help keep them dry.)

2nd level: Hall way access to front deck with Nags Head Hammock swing. Bedroom #5, front of house, 2 twin beds with desk connected to shared full bath with Queen Bedroom #4. At the back of the house 2 identical King Master bedrooms #1 & #2, each have a king bed, private bathroom, and sliding glass door access to the back deck over-looking pool. One of the Kings has a desk. Hallway laundry room with washer and dryer. Bedroom #3 - King bed, private bathroom.

3rd level - Huge great room with 2 sectional couches, 2 dinning tables, large upgraded kitchen, new 65”smart TV. Ample seating around the bar height counters. Access to front deck with ocean views, adirondack chairs, and back deck with shaded outdoor couch and gas grill overlooking the pool and parkland.

2 pack and plays are available for the little ones.

Destination-OBX is located along the 11 mile paved path for walking jogging and biking. Don't forget your bikes!

We chose to rent Friday to Friday so you could enjoy a full weekend at the beach and avoid the traffic.

There are 3 desks on hand throughout the home for remote work/education if needed.

Pet friendly for hypoallergenic/non shedding dogs. 1 medium size crate is available.

The house will be cleaned before your arrival. All beds will be made with freshly laundered sheets. Set of bath towels, bath mats and a starter set of toiletries will be provided for all guests and bathrooms. Cleaning, linens and misc. costs are covered under "Cleaning Fee."
