About this place

Cozy, mountain top off-grid glamp

Enjoy glamorous romantic camping 1600 feet above sea level in this off-grid tiny house with panoramic views of the Catskill Mountains just 2.5 hours from NYC! Ideal for couples. It's one of 4 unique structures on our 4 acre farm.

Newly constructed in 2021, well insulated, it contains a new luxury memory foam/coil hybrid queen mattress with full bedding, indoor eco-tub, kitchen sink & counter, 2 bar stools and raised eating platform.
ATTN: Bath tub closes for the season Sept 18. Hot showers using the camping shower bag is still available through end of October.

Just outside the house you'll find your Weber propane barbecue grill with outdoor table and benches. Use the ice filled cooler provided to store your burgers, hot dogs and other food items. We provide all the cooking utensils, silverware, paper plates, napkins, coffee mugs, drinking water and other kitchen essentials (salt, pepper, tissues, wipes, dish soap, etc.)

Super cozy queen sized bed, and 2 large windows that prop open allows a cool breeze to sweep through the space as you sleep. The front door also has a screen door that can let in maximum breeze and keep the bugs out!

If you're here during a clear night, you will be dazzled by our star gazing and wonder in awe at how clearly you can see the Milky Way from our field.

Walk our secluded dirt road and visit the animals at the nearby farm (Lamas, sheep, goats, donkeys, ducks, chickens). Other nearby attractions is the Kaaterskill Waterfall, Zoom Flume water park, Howe Caverns (underground caves) and Greenville Drive-In-Theater.

The highlights:

- Eco bath tub with stunning panoramic views of the Catskill Mountains. Water is not heated, it is stored rain water. NOTE: Hot water can be added with pre-boiled hot water urns we provide.

- Queen sized mattress with full bedding.

- 2 bar stools and raised eating table.

- Outdoor Picnic table and 2 benches.

- Bar style sink with access to water storage tap.

- Brand new 2023 port-a-potty toilet 35 feet away (for your private use only).

- Propane Weber BBQ grill. (propane included)

- Complimentary 4 gallon cooler, pre-filled with frozen water bottles.

- Complimentary 2 gallons of drinking water.

Note: Tub provides captured rain water stored in a 275 gallon storage tank.

Perfect for cooling off during a hot summer day or for taking a relaxing bubble bath in the evening. We can provide a couple of large urns with pre-boiled hot water which you can add directly in the tub to help warm the water or cloudy or colder summer days.

Guest access:

A large field (approx 1/4 acre). Parking in owner's large driveway. Walk 200 feet to cabin.

Other things to note

Note: Campfires are NOT ALLOWED to be made by guests at any time. At this elevation in the mountains the wind can get quite strong. This is why we provide a propane gas grill for your cooking needs.

I began hosting guests in my New York home back in 2009. My first guests were two students from the Czech Republic who stayed one week. In 2010 I hosted 5 international students from Turkey. They were hosted for 3 months because they came for Work And Travel program.

In 2020 I started a glamp ground in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Today I have 5 unique structures and hosted more than 700 couples. I also have a Youtube channel called THE GLAMP MAN where I discuss the business side of STRs.
