Step into the tranquil setting of our tastefully converted cottage barn, easily accessible via a shingle path through the front gardens. Upon entering, you'll find yourself in a neatly organized hallway that leads into a well-equipped kitchen. This space boasts a Rangemaster electric oven, gas hob, and essential appliances, including a Nespresso coffee machine, fridge freezer, and dishwasher. Also at your disposal are a washing machine and dryer, making your stay as comfortable as possible.
The kitchen includes a cosy dining table for four, perfect for family meals, and bi-fold doors that open up to the garden, creating a lovely flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. Adjacent to the kitchen, a larger dining area with seating for six offers a great spot for enjoying local culinary finds or an evening of games. The spacious living room invites relaxation with comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV with Fire Stick, and a wood burner for a cosy atmosphere on cooler nights.
The peaceful ambience continues upstairs with four bedrooms tailored for comfort and convenience. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds and stunning views over the countryside. The third bedroom, designed for children, includes bunk beds and a selection of books and games. Woodborough is a peaceful village, surrounded by fields and open countryside at the heart of the Pewsey Vale and within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural beauty. There is an excellent village pub and a garden centre with cafes and independent shops within a short walk of the cottage and the village is a member of the 'Walkers are Welcome' initiative, with plenty of beautiful walking and cycling options. Explore routes along the nearby Kennet and Avon canal and up to the spectacular white horse on the hill above Alton Barnes.

Woodborough is almost equidistant from the bustling market towns of Marlborough and Devizes (both a 15 min drive) and 3 miles west of the village of Pewsey with mainline train to London Paddington taking 1 hour, 5 mins. Salisbury and Swindon are both a 35 min drive away to the south and north and Bath is a 50 min drive north west. London Heathrow airport is a 1hr 20 minute drive from the cottage.
Although there is an extensive local bus network and private taxi companies, we recommend a car as the easiest option for exploring the local area.
