Located in the popular, historic and very walkable Clifton Neighborhood, this adorable property is a comfortable, cozy, well equipped one bedroom efficiency plus with a kitchenette. It is technically part of a duplex, however the unit does not share any walls directly with the front unit. It has its own private entrance located to the rear of the primary property, accessed by the front steps and a walkway to the right of the home. Our little place has everything you need in an awesome spot!
Clifton is a super popular walking neighborhood. It's extremely well established, and filled with historic homes. Some of the areas most popular restaurants and bars in the city are within walking distance of this home. The home itself is an adorable, nice sized efficiency in the rear unit of the duplex. It features a bedroom with a seating area and desk, a good size kitchenette, and bathroom.
The kitchenette is very well equipped, with a table that will seat up to five with an additional chair stored in the pantry. There is service for six as far as dinnerware and utensils, and there are half a dozen kitchen appliances including a microwave, toaster oven, toaster, blender, air fryer, and a two-burner hot plate. Whether you're staying for a few nights or a few months, you can prepare meals conveniently.
The bathroom is also nicely equipped. It has a standing shower and vanity. There's ample storage space and shelving. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc is all provided.
Guests have access to their unit and also the shared laundry space in the building's basement. Laundry is shared with the main tenant, and accessible via keypad from the outside basement entry on the side of the home. Please be mindful that this is also a storage space for our main tenant. Their items are off limits to our guests. However, laundry detergent, etc is supplied.
You can reach me via the messaging app from 9:00 a.m. to around midnight most days. If there is an emergency, please contact me first via the app and if you do not receive an immediate response, feel free to call.
A lot can be done in the neighborhood within walking distance, or many attractions are a short Lyft or Uber ride away. There's always TARC, our public transportation system, as well. The nearest stop is around a 7 minute walk from the property. Also there are plenty of Bird or Lime scooters around!
You may encounter our very nice long term tenants or their two older dogs on your walk to the rear of the property. As far as the front and back units are concerned, they're about the same distance as our neighbors to either side. Even though this is a duplex, there are no shared walls between the two units, as the enclosed basement entrance separates the two homes.
Our shared laundry facilities can be accessed through this shared basement entrance via a keypad. Please use common courtesy regarding the laundry facilities. They're free and first come first serve, but you're expected to remove items promptly.
