About this place
Brand new Cozy Camping Cabin with beautiful mountain and pond views at Buck Hill Campground. Guests can fish, tube, hike, and more!
Our newest cozy Big Buck Camping Cabin has a beautiful tongue and groove interior with a comfortable queen bed and a futon with a full-size mattress. The cabin has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, AC unit and heater. Enjoy amazing mountain and pond views on your deck or while enjoying s’mores at your fire pit. While the cabin does NOT have plumbing inside there is a brand-new bath house about 50 feet from the cabin.
When the campground is open, our cabin guests have access to the entire property. That includes swimming/fishing/tubing in the North Toe River that goes through the front of the campground, hiking to the top of Buck Hill Mountain, and all the campground amenities (fishing pond, playground, pickleball courts, basketball, movies under the stars, etc. )
***Please note our campground was severely damaged by Hurricane Helene in 2024, and the campground will not be completely rebuilt until the Spring of 2027. Guests can still stay in our cabins now but some of the campground amenities will not be available until Spring and Summer of 2027. We will update this listing once the amenities have been fully restored and ready for our guests to enjoy!
Other things to note
Please note our guests bring their own pillows, linens/comforter, and towels for the bathroom. If you would like us to provide a linen service for a fee, we can do that, but please request this at time of booking and let us know how many beds/people you need linen service for.
We are also pet friendly, guests pay a one-time $50 pet fee per dog, but we require all dogs to be leashed and picked up after while on the campground.

Meet the Host
My wife and I run a beautiful campground in Western North Carolina. Our guests love to trout fish and tube in our river, or hike up to the top of Buck Hill Mountain (our property is 144 acres) We rent both RV sites, tent sites, and 11 cabins for our guests to enjoy while saying with us.
