Bluegrass Retreat - Lexington

Modern comfort within walking distance from the University of Kentucky, Kroger Field, Chevy Chase restaurants, local shops and much more. Our home features 4 private bedrooms, 3 full baths and a half bath. An office space room with a murphy bed that can be converted to a 5th bedroom. There is an EV charger in the garage. You will need to bring your vehicle portable designated cable to plug into the wall outlet. The home is located in a desirable area where you may enjoy a quiet neighborhood.

First Floor:

As you enter the front door, you will find a bedroom on the left with a queen size bed, work desk, its own private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and walk-in closet. On your right is a double entry doorway, without a lock, leading to the bedroom 5/office space with a queen size murphy bed - no bathroom except 1/2 one in the hallway. You walk down the hallway, past the main floor thermostat and past the half bathroom on the left and the laundry room on the right, to the open concept living room, dining area and a full-size kitchen. Sofa bed in the living room. Off the living room is a patio with outdoor dining seating and a grill that overlooks the large private backyard and garage. The backyard has a 6-foot privacy fence along with an automatic private gate. The garage is equipped with a 240V outlet to charge your EV with your portable cable.

Second Floor:

Walk upstairs to the second floor landing where you will find three doorways and the thermostat control to the upstairs floor. The first door to the right features a large oversized bedroom with a queen size bed , TV and a quiet workspace. The bedroom has its own private bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub and walk-in closet.

The other upstairs bedrooms both have queen size beds and share a jack and jill bathroom with walk-in shower and each bedroom has its own walk-in closet. Please note that all bedrooms have room darkening curtains. However, the two upstairs bedrooms, that share a bathroom, have one higher up window, as featured in the pictures, and does not have any covering allowing natural light through.

During football games, you will be treated to the exhilarating melodies of the UK marching band playing your beloved game day tunes right in the backyard.

Our backyard features a cozy firepit with two chairs setup for your comfort. Feel free to move the chairs around the outside dining area as you like, but please remember to return them to their original spots before you leave.

Whether you're visiting for a weekend getaway, a family reunion, or a memorable university event, this property is designed to make your stay truly unforgettable.

Please feel free to use everything in the home except for the locked closets or cabinets and the locked outdoor shed located behind the garage.

Quiet family neighborhood within walking distance to the University of Kentucky.

Parking in the rear garage is available as well as the driveway leading to the gate entry of the home. Do not park on the street due to certain restrictions. Please not park right behind the gate in the rear in case the gate opens automatically. Uber is also readily available in Lexington for transportation.

Please note, in case of power outage due to natural disasters, or storms, the home is not equipped with a generator. In that event, we are not responsible for finding you other accommodations.

Gate - there is a gate that takes you to the backyard/garage. It has a code on it and you may leave it open during your stay or use the remote to open and close while you are visiting. Please note - we are not responsible for any damages to your vehicle.

MAXIMUM OFFUPANCY OF 12 GUESTS IN THE HOME AT ANY ONE TIME. If the number of guests is more than 12, the renter will be fined $200 per extra person and will be removed from the property and lose their payment.

No smoking, vaping or illegal drugs allowed.

Quiet time is 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

If you require home cleaning services for a longer stay, I may be able to arrange to have someone come based on their availability. You would pay them for their cleaning fee directly.

Please keep doors closed as much as possible at night to minimize the outside bugs from flying inside.
